Deb Van Sickle1I opened a checking account 04/13/22. Today is May 24th and I still do not have a debit card. I contacted the bank where I opened the account and was told that it could take up to 4 to 6 weeks. I could irder another one a a $15 charge. Still no card. My husband opened a premium accout requiring a large deposit balace the same day and he received his debit card in 2 days. Also tried contacting customer service and could not get thru to a human. It's evident by my experience, that you only get service from this bank if you have a high deposit account. I Do Not recommend them if you open a normal account requiring a $2k deposit monthly. I opened this account to see if I wanted to move all my money here. Due to the lack of service on this account, that won't be happening. If you are a normal middle class class income person, don't bother with this bank.

Devin Rogers3Recently had to come in to withdraw money in the form of a check and the lady was very quick and helpful. For once there was not a line, which I was thankful for. Every other time I have been here there is a long line. It is frustrating because they never have enough staff but there is not another Bank of America north of Asheville, so this is the closest location to me. They NEED to have more staff at this location, it is so awful how long the wait can be even when the line is "short". They also need to not prioritize someone who pulls up in the drive-through when the line inside is out the front door.

In addition to that I am asked why I don't open an account with them while I am asked questions about my work and life to make them seem more personable but it's quite obvious they aren't even listening. And they wonder why I won't open an account with them

Damian Diaz1So I Drive Up, After Being In Line For 30 Minutes, & The First Thing I Hear. Is The Guy TALKING In Spanish, So I Respond, With I'm Fine, I Would Like To Cash My Check & Deposit $600. The Guy Keeps Talking To Me In Spanish, After I Responded In English! So I Repeat My Intentions In English, & Ask For A Deposit Slip, He Refuses. Sends Me Out A Deposit Slip, Depositing $1000. Then He Puts A Hold On The Check. Pretty Upset By Now, I'll Be Closing My Accounts, & Talk To Family About Swithing Our Business Acount To Another Bank. Stay Away Minorities.

sheldon smith1I tried to cash a check from a business partner I’ve cashed multiple checks with in the past and was told “ you don’t have a history that’s credible enough for me to cash this.” And then was told to create a history by cashing checks that they won’t cash without a history. The staff here are incompetent, ditsy, fools; and the exact reason why Venmo is putting them out of business. If you have a Bank of America account, CANCEL IT.

Always long lines and you can guarantee they’ll help someone who pulls up at the drive thru before opening up a new line to help the next person in line who has been waiting longer than the person in the drive thru. One staff member was juggling back and forth between drive thru and the line in the middle of each transaction. This is a great way to get someone’s accounts mixed up. Each customer should get the teller’s focus until their transaction is complete, not getting one transaction started then jumping to someone else to get theirs started and coming back in between. I also bank at Premier Federal Credit Union.... if you’re looking for a new bank check them out. Better customer service than BOA, the customer in front of the teller gets their full attention.

Sherry Stillwell1They have closed the bank near me and I understand alot is going on right now I really do however all the other banks have been open normal hours with Mask required yet just I have went to 3 different Bank of Americas the lobbies are closed still and now today they have changed their hours so they close at 4 pm so this has helped me to make my mind up in changing banks
