I have an account and my job wrote company payroll checks on BOA and they take a week to clear on here. Bank absolutely sucks. Closing my account.

I did not have to wait long after walking in. Kristina set my appointment and Donna. Donna was safe and very knowledgeable of Bank of Americas products. She noticed where I needed to update my personal information and helped with that. Donna also ate crow saying how good Tom Brady is EVEN being a Cowboy fan. Very personal people and make you feel welcome

      Response from the owner

I had a very pleasant experience when I walked into the bank. I was greeted right away by the bank manager and another bank attendant, they were quick to help me with what info I needed to open up my business account. I came back the next day with all my paperwork without realizing it was almost closing time. I was still attended by John the bank manager and Mel who helped me get my account all set up. I left well after an hour after closing. They made me feel like an important customer so I only have good things to say about this branch. FYI. I had walked into Chase bank next door first to open an account. I was totally ignored by 3 people at cash register. I actually cleared my throat very loudly to get some attention. The person I needed to help me was booked for the day. I was told I would get a call to confirm a 9 am appointment for the next day. I received a call at 10:30am instead. They were all confused on the appointments. I was done with Chase and ended up next door at BoA. Happy I did!!

Have 6 accounts with BOA and been doing business over 20 years. What’s happened? Customer service is terrible all over the eastern seaboard. Many branches not open. When traveling to find one that is, you wait and wait and wait for service. When questioning people are very defensive. And we do many of our transactions online as you want us to. Looking to change banks.

Very disappointed in the Bank of America at this location. Never know when the lobby is going to be open. Many times I go needing lobby services and only the drive through is open. No CLOSED sign on the door. Customers are parking and walking up to the door, peering in, asking others walking back to their cars, What’s going on? This is very unprofessional., Most of the folk are elderly and it is inexcusable to run a bank like this. Considering changing changing to Citizens First. Bank of America, Get your act together. Now.

Made an appointment in person over 3 weeks ago for today at 12pm. I received a confirmation phone call and email. I arrived at this location to find the doors locked. There is no notice posted telling why they are closed. BOA customer service could not give an explanation for this bank being closed. Time to go to another banking institution.

Poor user friendly features when calling this branch. Unable to leave messages for banking staff when the branch is closed. Nor are the emails listed for the personal bankers to reach them that way also.. Makes it hard for me to reschedule an appointment if I can't reach a way to leave a message.

Awful service, receptionist had rotten attitude, went in for notary service and not only was it unable to be completed in a timely manner, their policy is to expect all documents to be handed over for their review when all their job is, as a notary, is to verify signature against ID and witness the signing of designated pages. Not to mention they entered all kinds of information on our account regarding the documents we were trying to get notarized. What gives them that right? It's none of their business other than to witness and notarize. We left and went to AAA in Lake Sumter landing who requested only the page to be notarized, as expected. Not coming back to this BOA branch.

We received a check from our insurance company (The Hartford) as part of the covad monthly premium refund in the amount of $14.36. It is drawn off of Bank of America. Since the closest of our bank branches is located in Leesburg, we thought we would try cashing it at this local BoA. Lobby closed so we waited in line to eventually be told that they would charge us an $8 fee to cash a check for $14+ that is drawn off a national account of the bank. Unreal. What a way to attract new customers. NOT! Back in the 80s and early 90s we had a mortgage through BoA and their customer service was horrible back then. Apparently some things never change.
