liliana videla1On the 1/4 / 21 at 3pm my husband and I went to the Bank of America in Draper, we went to cash a check from my insurance company Geico being the check from the same bank, they told us that they could not cash it because they needed an extra check. We asked to speak to the manager who made us wait 20 minutes looking at us through a glass. When he left his office, we wanted him to talk to the insurance company, but he told us that he didn't talk to anyone and in a bad way he told us the real reason, that they don't have cash to cash our check . In addition to poor service, no predisposition to help the client

Danial Centeno1I tried to call their branch for two days with no response no one would pick up the phone so I drove 45 miles to go to their location for one single question to be answered. No wonder people go to credit unions instead of the big banks anymore

Wendy Wiley1There were no tellers available when I walked in. Everyone was in the back. When someone finally came out onto the floor they seemed in a big rush and they were very obviously annoyed to see customers waiting. It was 15 minutes before close. You need to have tellers available to customers until close. Super unprofessional and unkind to the customers who were just as anxious to get out of there as they were. The fees associated with cashing a check are outrageously high. I stopped doing business with them. No longer a customer.
Response from the ownerHello Wendy. We value your business and are sorry that you were disappointed. We’ll certainly be sharing your feedback with our leadership team and would like to know more. Jorge Garcia1I came to this branch with my family to open a joint account, we talked to Carlos at first who was asking questions that were not related to the purpose of our visit. My sister remembered him from another branch located in Taylorsville where it was the same story. He started asking questions not related to the visit. That time I was opening an account for my food truck and his words were literally that we were wasting our time because food trucks are not profitable during the winter. This visit was unsuccessful as well, his companion went to talk to him about opening our account but he declined because one of my sisters had an expired ID, they didn’t even look at the other valid IDs. It’s really disappointing that we had to travel 10 miles to another branch because our experience at Taylorsville wasn’t the best to have this time an even worse experience in the other location with the same terrible employee. It honestly seemed like they didn’t want to work and their unprofessionalism of asking personal questions is just too much. Btw Mike was kind of harassing for us to stop using Square in our business for taking payments and wanting us to start doing it with Bank of America. I had to tell him multiple times that I’m happy with what I have.

Waleska Maderer1I have been a BOA customer for more than 13 years. I came to this branch because is the only one “closer” to me. They don’t have a trained staff to do their work, they make you wait for no reason, more than 25 min. Today, I had the worst Experience with BOA, the “manager” Terry Dixon was very rude and unprofessional. I hope someone can pay Attention to his role there. Very disappointed!!

Electronik1I have existing accounts in BoA, and stopped by to open trading account, and wasted like an hour for ... unknown. Representative seems struggling with computer system, asked for help several times from the coworkers and so on. Cannot wait due to other appointment and had to leave. They have assured everything is fine and promised to send account details over email. But nothing. No follow up emails or call. Nothing. Really unprofessional! I am afraid for my personal information. Now trying to call this branch and nobody is picking up the phone 🤷♂️ What a “service” 🤨

Alisyn R5INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE. Have had a very frustrating time trying to set up my small business with other branches and over the phone but we were able to clear up everything here and I was well taken care of, in and out in less than 40 minutes. My account is 100% up and running. The people at the new Lehi, UT mini branch of Bank of America that helped me yesterday and those at the big branch today in Draper, UT were very competent, helpful, quick and efficient and are sorry for all the trouble I had with their employees at other branches and over the phone. Especially impressed with J. Dashiell Dale, “Dash”, Relationship Manager and Jon Garrison, Small Business Consultant. AWESOME and problem-free process, they helped me super fast and everything went smoothly. Thank you!!

Colby Greening1Came in to cash a check, rep comes up to me I explain to him I do not have a boa account however the check is boa issued. He says it'll be a 35 minute wait. He then recommended with the limited amount of time I had to go down to the sandy location as "they'll be dead". What he failed to mention is that the location he recommended was atm only and requires a boa card just to even enter the building aside from the fact the atm would have done me no good. Thanks for wasting my time, you've guaranteed I'll never do business with boa.
