Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Reviews

Joseph Roberto3The nature of big banking has changed dramatically over the years. Full service now applies to loan services, not to drive thru or credit cards. 5 stars for each of the employees I have met at this branch ZERO stars for the corporate decisions.
Response from the ownerThank you for being a valued Bank of America customer. We appreciate the review about your experience.

Joan Glover1Worst experience I have ever had at a bank. I have been a customer for almost 30 years, it has changed names over the years. I lost my debit card and went to the bank to get help with a new card. Apparently, they don’t do that anymore (what???). Not only that, they are phasing out the cards (what???) and going forward you have to use digital. It took me awhile to understand because it seems so extreme. They were incredibly rude and the manager raised his voice telling me “I’ve already told you 9 times.” He was keeping track??! Yep, total rudeness. They would not have that job if not for customers. I do not recommend the Dunnellon, FL branch of BOA.

Melissa Martin1I walked into the lobby and waited for the teller for a few minutes. I was then approached by an employee with a box of masks in hand telling me I had to wear a mask. I advised him I couldn't do to a medical condition. He said I had to. I pushed back and again repeated myself. I was then told to go outside and the bank manager would come out to help me. I waited outside the door for 5 mins, the bank manager came out took my card and then I waited 15 more minutes!!! The entire time there was no one waiting to in line to be helped by a teller. I have no clue what took him 15 minutes for a simple withdrawal transaction. Note this location does not have drive through teller service. I was made to feel like an outsider just because I can't wear a mask. My time was completely disregarded as there was no reason for me to have waited as long as I did. I would have left had the bank manager not taken my bank card. Ironic part is, if you wear a mask inside and your nose is exposed they are okay with that. The customer that was being helped, when I was waiting inside, had his nose completely exposed. I now drive to the branch on 200 and they are happy to assist me without a mask inside the lobby just like every other customer. It's worth the 30 minute drive.

Tammy Hussey5I had a wonderful experience today at our local Bank of America in Dunnellon, Florida. Houston Burke resolved all my issues and went above and beyond to help me and even saved me some money in the end. I so appreciated their kindness and help. Also the teller Brandy and security guard were friendly, helpful and all around nice. I have been a customer for many years and will continue to be for many more.

Deb Peleech1WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, not only at a bank but any business in my life. I’ve been a BOA customer for over 10 years and this branch needs to reevaluate their employees both Ed and Mr Burke we’re VERY rude when I had questions. I couldn’t believe it I’ve never been talked to like that from a business. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Lisa Cupelli1I tried to cash a check written by my employer and after standing in line for 30 minutes was told that if um not a bank of America customer it would cist my $8 to cash the business check. I thought why would I want to bank with a company who would charge such insane amounts cash a business check!?!? Plus there was one teller working the floor and one at the drive up service and today is Tuesday yesterday was a holiday so the floor line was really long and no one was going to be nice to that one person by herself... They are horrible and I would never bank with them!

Ashley Johnson1Very rude higher management. They wouldn't exchange bills for the company I work for. You have to be a cardholder with them. She said if you had an account with us, and I said no and she said all snotty well that's why you can't get change from us. When do banks that handle money not do it? 😡 Worst Bank of America. Very snotty rude management. Take your business elsewhere to be appreciated.
