No customer service .what so ever chame on the manager there were 6 employees including the manager. Only 2 cashiers and they have to supervisors behind this ladies. They were doing night deposits I was in the parking lot since 8 and they just walked in at 8:48 am ,and they said to all the customer they were having computers issues .all líes they were making deposits from other bussinesses , maybe they should be schedule and do it when bank is closed (for the customers) but not in Customer service hours. No everyone is retired and have plenty of time .

Waited 45 minutes in line to make a counter transaction with a teller. This morning at the time of the bank opening there was only one teller working the counter and the line was out the door - which would have no big deal if the very first customer of the day hadn’t had a 20 minute transaction. Someone went to a different BOA employee and suggested that someone else should go help the lone employee but that was met disgust and indignation - “how dare anyone try to tell me I should get out of my chair and go help our only teller employer so that our customers don’t have to stand in line for 40-45 minutes” was the look given. That part was actually comical, but waiting 45 minutes was not - that is unacceptable and the bank should be able to do better.

My husband and I use 3 different banks. We have joint accounts with Campus USA and have always had quick and easy experiences. Today we went to Regions to add my husband onto my accounts, took 10-15 minutes, easy peasy. We then go to Bank of America so I can be added onto his account. We wait in line over 15 minutes for the teller to then send us to a personal banker. The banker had to check in with two other personal bankers then asked us if we had an appointment, to which we did not. He then informed us they were too busy and we had to make an appointment and come back at a later time. I suppose we will have to make an appointment to now close the account so we can move to one of our other banks who actually have time for their clients rather than dismissing them away for something that takes a mere five minutes. Apparently instead of hiring another teller or banker to help their customers when they have a line over ten deep, they’d rather dismiss their clients to come back at a more convenient time for themselves, rather than the convenience of their clients.

If I could give zero I would. This specific branch (Silver Springs, in Ocala, FL) does not care about their clients. I went here twice and both times I had a horrible experience. The manager the first time did not care about my needs and pass me down to another branch. Of course that branch went out of their way to help me. The second time, the manager told me that she did not have any bankers to help me and that she cannot even reach out to another branch to help me. I have been with BOA since 2006 and I have never experienced this kind of unprofessional behavior from any other branch that I visited. If the staff does not want to work they should stay home. It is very difficult to get an appointment and help from anyone at the Silver Spring branch. I will never go there again. I hope that upper management for BOA look into this branch and the issue that clients are having.

Where do I start? After my experience today (9/9/21) I read other reviews and they sum it up. I'm 63 and have banked at BofA for over 30 years. Today was the worst experience in my 40 years of banking with any bank. I drove 30 miles to this location. Got in line behind 10 people and only 2 tellers working. After 45 minutes in line...yes I timed it.. My main reason coming here was to get quarters to do laundry while located at a campground and I was told I was limited to one roll due to a coin shortage. When it was my turn my teller left to apparently go home. There was only 2 tellers and this left only one. This left 1 teller to provide services to 8 people in line behind me. And it was 3:45. This bank closes at 4. Where was management? If I did that at my job I would have been fired. And when I was in management I stepped in to help my employees if they got backed up. So not only are the employees at this branch rude to customers apparently management does not care either. Unbelieveable.

The 5 Star rating is specifically for Stephanie & Thom who have been very professional every time I have visited the branch. I would agree with the low reviews provided by many customers for Bank of America, however; I sincerely appreciate the consistent, positive and excellent service both Stephanie & Thom have provided on every visit I made to this BOA branch. I hope that BOA will improve the resources and support they give their associates. Many of them, like Stephanie & Thom, are trying their best to make a positive experience for their customers.

      Response from the owner

Hi Carlos. Thanks for letting us know how helpful Stephanie & Thom was during your financial center visit. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what we’re doing well. ^emely

I’m almost positive that somewhere in the business model of BOA that it’s stated that their goal is to be the most understaffed, most slow, and least competent bank in America. I have yet to go to a branch that isn’t horrible. This branch is one of the worst. I have to go once a month to deposit into an account holder’s account. Why anyone would put their money in this bank is beyond me.

Went to this location at 4, because this bank has always been open at 4 ever since i can remember. Walked up to the door and it was closed. The hours written on the bank doors for Friday states they close at 5. Yet they were not open. You guys should probably update that, or even actually stay open until 5 on a Friday, seeing most people get payed on Friday’s and need to go to the bank.

      Response from the owner

Hi Shnaz. We are doing our best to remain open to serve our clients while implementing changes within our financial centers to follow CDC and government guidelines. As such, some locations may be either temporarily closed or operating at adjusted hours. If you’d like to visit an alternative financial center, please click the following link for the most up-to-date info on our centers http://go.bofa.com/Locator. Also, when new information is available regarding openings and hours, the website will be updated. ^ines

Add more tellers; it's really that simple of a solution. Clearly the boa mobile app experience leaves plenty to be desired, hence the 30-person deep line of customers. Two tellers is simply inadequate and seems destined to create a perception of deliberately irritating clientele.

      Response from the owner

Hi Mike, we appreciate you coming in. You may be able to save time by using an ATM or by using our online banking options.
