Horrible experience. After just a few days in the Keys after moving from up north, went in to open a checking and savings account with a 1st. tranche of a substantially large deposit. It took 2.5 hours!!! The person who was helping us was not very familiar with the system and procedures. But, I place ALL the blame on the lack of leadership by the manager (J) After realizing the rep was having issues, she (J) would periodically make suggestions or answer question instead of taking over and assisting us. My spouse had an appointment which almost missed and had to be moved. This manager barely apologized for HER incompetence, lack of customer service and leadership. Instead, towards the end, when she finally took over the process, would answer any of our questions in a rather condescending fashion. Planning on opening an account next door and withdrawing the initial deposit.

There is just about always a long line because they usually only have ONE person actually working at the counter while one or two others are doing other things besides serving the customers.

Went into the lobby at 9:05 am. Five minutes after they opened and needed to deposit a large check to my personal account and another large check to my business account. There were no other customers in the bank. I had the check properly endorsed including the account number but rather than fill in a deposit slip, I took the check directly to Irma, the teller, and hoped she could complete a deposit slip for me. There were no other customers in the bank and 2 tellers standing with no customers I should add I also had back surgery and was walking with a cane and had on a back brace. Based on Irma’s response to my lack of a deposit slip, you would think I asked her for a demanding and time consuming service. She proceeded to lecture me on the need to fill out my own deposit slip I took the check back and took the deposit to a different branch Irma is the least helpful teller I have ever experienced at Bank of America and I have been a personal and business customer for over 10 years

Their system made a double credit card payment, overdrafting my account. The reversal ultimately took three weeks to solve. This branch was no help. Constantly having checks held for deposit more than a week. On top of Bank of America’s need to have a political opinion even though they are a publicly traded company. An account here is no longer worth the convenience of many locations as that was the last positive.

Bank of America closed 3 credit accounts which were over 15 years old totaling 47,000 with no notification until after closing. All had zero balances and zero late payments. My credit score has since dropped 150 points in one month. There are no other negative factors or changes on my report. They deny that their closing of my accounts caused this, yet refuse to reopen them due to my now low credit score. I have been with this bank since I was 18 years old and with three clicks they have ruined my credit that took me 22 years to build. I am so frustrated. "We're sorry, but the terms and conditions have changed" is the best and only response they have been able to provide after many hours in the Tavernier office and on the phone. Yet the "managers" have no explanation of what that means.

Once again just spent thirty minutes in line... One teller right at noon when everyone is on their lunch break. Twelve people in line, I was third and still waited thirty minutes. Worst location I have ever dealt with. Tellers are all friendly, but only having one at lunch time and on Friday afternoons is just poor management.

This is the absolute worst Bank of America branch in the country. Tellers are lazy and rude. No drive-thru, not open on Saturdays..

there are not enough people to serve, only one person for 15 customers! It’s crazy I’m waiting in the line 30min and still have 7 people behind me

Really great team at this branch!! Susana and Julie took my daughter's experience of making her 1st deposit very seriously AND made it a fun educational experience for her! Thanks, BoA Team!

Worst customer service. No drive through. Rude tellers. I wish there were better options for banks in Key Largo.
