  Another smooth transaction with Avenir Mortgage. Thank you again to Greg and team, for the painless and quick refi! Avenir Mortgage helped us with the mortgage for our home we bought last year. I was very pleased with the quick responses, the friendly demeanor and over the top research that is provided. Since mortgage rates are currently so low, I decided to send a quick email to Greg for a quote on our condo that was on an ARM. Not only did he give us a great quote on that, he also went ahead and ran a quote for our home and was also able to get us a great rate that we could not pass up. Thank you all again!

  For years, I have seen Greg Lartilleux's & Avenir Mortgage's information in flyer coming from a realtor to all homes in our neighborhood. I thought that one day I will call him to look into refinancing our home. I kept putting off that call year after year. Until about a month ago, when I heard on the radio that mortgage rates went to lows not seen since the 2008/09 crash. So, I decided to call Greg. We made an appointment and met at his office, in Pleasant Hill. Prior to meeting, I provided Greg with all the necessary information regarding our current mortgage, payments, income, etc, in order to allow Greg to research and find the best refi options for our home. We met in COVID 19 compliant conditions, masks, social distancing, etc. Greg was very well prepared, knew inside out the details of our mortgage, had our credit checks run, and, based on all the information, had prepared two mortgage refi proposals. Both of them had an exceptional low rate. After carefully reviewing with me all the details of both offers, we picked one that best suited our current situation. Then, Greg explained how the entire process will work out. The refi choice selected will save us significant money on a monthly basis, and over the life of the loan. By all means, this is probably the last loan that we'll ever need until the home is paid in full. The following day, and over the next 3-4 weeks we have worked with Brent, one of the Loan Managers with Avenir Mortgage. Brent guided us through the various steps that we needed to complete (e.g online approvals for documentation with our new lender), and the organized the signing of the document with Old Republic Title Company. Given the current COVID situation, we agreed to have the signing at our home, in the backyard. Ana, the Old Republic notary contacted the day prior, and on the day of signing, arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. She went over the paperwork, and within 20 mins or so, the entire process was completed. A few days later, when the loan closed, we received the final notification that the loan as closed from Lisa, the Loan Partner for Avenir MP. I cannot speak highly enough for the professionalism of everyone at Avenir MP, from the moment I picked up the phone to call Greg, to the last email received from Lisa, informing us of the loan closure. This has truly been a great experience. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Greg and his team to anyone who is interesting in buying a home, or in refinancing their current loans. Thank you Greg, Brent and Lisa for helping us with the entire refinance process.

  We just completed the refinancing of our condo and we are very very happy with the amazing service, the information and updates we received along the way, and that we were able to complete the whole process in under a month. Greg was highly recommended by a friend of mine and he was able to help us find the right mortgage rate and term. Then Brent and Lisa kicked in with all the paperwork, appraisal and loan requirements. They even arranged for a mobile notary to meet my husband at his hotel room while in Virginia to sign papers. I would highly recommend Avenir for your mortgage needs.

  I needed to refinance my home in a relatively short time frame last spring. I also have a unique income situation with a mix of short term employment and independent contractor work. After spending time searching through tons of online mortgage brokers, starting paperwork, giving up when I got to the income verification section, and receiving annoying sales calls, I finally started looking for a local broker. I found Avenir Mortgage Planners in Pleasant Hill and I'm so glad I did! I called up Greg and we quickly set up a meeting. He and his team, Brent and Lisa, made my difficult situation fairly painless. They were extremely patient with me as I got the necessary documents to them, they took care of all the hard stuff I didn't want go through with the online brokers, kept me up to date and on time with everything, and got me a no cost refi at a great rate. Fast forward six months and my wife and I find ourselves considering making an offer on a home very spur of the moment on a weekend. We hadn't been pre-approved for a loan, but after a phone call to Greg (on a Saturday nonetheless) he was able to get a pre-approval letter by the time offers were due that Monday at noon. I was really impressed that he went to all that trouble to make that happen so fast. While we didn't end up with that house, a couple weeks later we ended up in a similar situation and Greg came to the rescue again. This time our offer was accepted and the Avenir team worked seamlessly with us and our realtor to get our loan funded in a short period of time. We were even able to close a week early because I had to be overseas for work when the original closing was scheduled. I can't recommend Avenir enough. They were awesome and really went above and beyond to help me refinance and then qualify for a new loan with my non-typical income situation. They will be my first choice for any future business, and I wouldn't have a moment's hesitation to refer anyone who needs help with their refi or other mortgage needs to them.

  I had the great pleasure of working with Avenir Mortgage Planners to help finance my very first home. I was terrified to start the process as a first time home buyer, afraid that my ignorance would leave me vulnerable to mistakes. On a single income, I didn't think I would be approved for a home, but the guys did a great job to find the perfect program to meet my needs. Greg and Brent were extremely patient and walked me through every step of the process. They were attentive to my concerns and made sure to be clear with what they needed and what would be asked of me. The team at Avenir were quick to respond to any phone calls and emails that I sent.   I have nothing but positive things to say about Avenir Mortgage Planners. Last year they helped us with our primary loan during a home purchase. The process was smooth with clear communication at every step of the way. Recently Avenir contacted us to notify us that rates had dropped and that we might be able to save money with a refinance. We wondered if a refi would make sense being this close to our original We ended up getting a lower rate and saving several hundred dollars a month with no out of pocket cost to us.
