  As a first time home buyer, Bill made me comfortable from the start. What stood out with him compared to others is that he took the time to get to know me first before diving into business. He met me on a personal level, explained his role and history in the game, and then put the ball back in my court and allowed me to pick who I wanted to go with. I did not feel pressured at all and I am thankful for him as buying your first home can be nerve racking to say the least. During the entire process he was communicative and always made himself available when I had questions (which I had a lot of). He kept me constantly updated, I never felt left in the dark, he was very knowledgeable, held himself accountable at all times, and set clear expectations on everything. He got me the rate I was looking for and made this entire process much easier than I was expecting it to be. I am super thankful to Bill and his team, would definitely recommend him to others, and definitely will be going back to him when it comes time to purchase my next home.

  Bill is AMAZING. Not only did he get our loan closed on time, but he got us a great low rate and helped us save money on our down payment as first time homebuyers.   You can't ask for a more honest mortgage broker than Bill Schaeffer. I have worked with Bill twice. Once on a re-fi and a second time for a closing. Both times I felt like my best interest were at heart. Bill really listened to me and what I wanted out of a loan, and he found a program that worked for me long term.
