  A few weeks ago I posted a negative review against Angel Oak. There were some balls dropped and the process was dragging. Angel Oak immediately responded and within a week we were closing on our refinance. I can't explain the mistakes initially made, but I can tell you they value their customers and jumped to right the wrong the moment I notified them. Larry Mize worked weekends, he could have been home with his family, to help my family refinance our home. And he didn't do it alone. He had a team working behind him. Mistakes happen, but the effort they put forth to fix the issue made our goals complete. I am extremely grateful to Larry and the team behind him that made this happen. They gave a mom and dad peace of mind and a family the financial help they needed. Don't know what we would do without them. Thanks Angel Oak.

  The worst company we've ever worked with. Nothing clear, bad service, bad attention, bad response. We are more than 2 months late with 3 simple operations, we are a real estate investment company in South Florida with 8 years of experience, we never deal with such unprofessional people. They do not care about the customer in the least, they only find ways to delay closures. I feel frustrated, I lost money, time and health with these people. I never write reviews, but in this case it is worth warning and saying, that no one should work with them again. The client? The last. Attention? less than nothing.

  Top Notch Service!!! Our AE, Leslie Rudd, is extremely knowledgeable with the products they offer. He is available 99.9% of the time even on weekends and after hours. If I could give a few more stars I would.

  Andrea Johnson Acct Exec in Memphis is a magician and a complete godsend! If there is one thing I value, it’s integrity and the ability to get a job done. She delivered for me in a remarkable time frame. True professional. Highly recommended for all lending needs. In this process, you need someone who has experience and knows scenarios to provide you with options. She does that and more. I can’t say enough good about Ms. Johnson and her team.

  Horrible lender!!! Stay far away if you can. They overpromise and under-deliver. This was our third home purchase in 13 years. We were promised a competitive rate if we completed a laundry list of ridiculous requests. We complied with every single one of them only to get screwed over by this lender! They couldn't secure an appraiser for weeks and we even had to pay for "rush" appraisal. After everything this lender put us through days before our closing we had to come with thousands of dollars to be able to close and our "competitive rate" that was promised doubled!!! Stay away from this lender!!!

  Being unfamiliar with AO and knowing from experience that underwriting can often time be the biggest challenge of a transaction, I have to say that that concern could not have been more misplaced. I was genuinely impressed by the underwriter's professionalism and personal touch during the underwriting portion of our transaction. He was quick to return emails or voicemails and was extremely efficient in his turn times at a point in the transaction when I was concerned that we would be able to close on time. He even went out of his way to help ensure that the CD was being prepared and would be delivered in the timeframe requested. Great experience - I look forward to our next transaction with you!
