  Amazing service. Amazing people. Amazing bank. I love being a customer. If you are thinking about a new bank, just come here and ask for Miss Dottie. She will make sure you enjoy your experience with Ameris and their employees. I love how much I see Miss Dottie mentioned in these reviews. Even a telephone support agent commented to me on how often she heard her praise when dealing with customers in our area.

  I've always been satisfied with Ameris Banks. This Lake City branch is the only one that gives me problems. More than once they refuse to cash my check when I've had a bank account for more than 7 years now when it's dated for the same day because I'm a little short in my account to cover it. I understand it's probably policy, but it's ridiculous to me.

  I went into the lake city office with a lot and I mean a lot of questions. However every question I had Ms Dottie knocked them down one answer at a time. So I had to open up the accounts with her due to the fact that if a bank is that knowledgeable for what I was requiring that's where I wanted to place my money. Thank you so much for top notch employees who know what they're doing and what they're saying.

  I had called and spoke to Tammy Crews the Branch Manager about moving my accounts to Ameris Bank. Me and my Husband went in today and opened our new accounts with Lake City office on 90 west. Tammy Crews the Branch Manager and Alec Livingston were awesome today with all their help. The Customer service was Great with the Lake City team!!! I would recommend them to anyone .

  The Ameris Bank branches in Lake City are just bad, this one being the worse! It's Poorly managed & poorly staffed. There have been some awesome employees that have worked at this location over the years but inevitably are ran off or leave due to frustration. The employee turnover rate should stand as a testament to the quality of services you're bound to get. I highly recommend one of their competitors if you're looking to open a new account or change banks. If you want to stay local, go with First Federal or Drummond Bank and if you need something national go with TD Bank. ANYTHING is better than this!

  Do not use this bank! They will hold your money hostage! Horrible Bank! Chase Bank is much better and they have a 225.00 sign up bonus for opening a bank account.

  This bank is horrible!!! I desperately needed change on a Saturday and they refused to help me because I don’t have an account with them. Whatever happened to hospitality? I just needed smaller bills but they wouldn’t do it.
