  I am giving one star because it won't let me give zero stars. Ameris bank is absolutely useless and terrible. I was trying to change banks to them and made an external transfer of my balance. I was told after a week of not having access to ANY OF MY OWN MONEY that it would take two more weeks before they would make the funds available. So they have my money but won't allow me to access any of it because it's a new account and apparently they take three wees to process a transfer that has already occurred and is sitting in the account They won't even let me close and withdraw it. So basically Ameris bank is stealing my money. DO NOT USE THIS INSTITUTION. There are literally dozens of better options that are probably less interested in theft.

  I have closed my account with them and I am so glad I did it was the best decision I have ever made. I will not recommend them to my dog let alone a human being they are a very very dishonest bank and I am so glad I chose another bank and are officially done with them . I CAN PROMISE YOU I Will NEVER BANK WITH AMERIC BANK EVERY AGAIN AND NEVER PLAIN TO EVEN WALK IN THAT PLACE OF BUSINESS.

  Great customer service!! We opened numerous accounts and were guided very thoroughly and received exactly what we were looking for. Very high kudos to Matthew for delivering good old fashioned banking!!

  The people there were very friendly and very professional. Linda the branch manager detailed me in everything I needed to know about checking and savings. I am happy I am a client at Ameri Bank.

  Ms. Linda is the best around. Easy customer service, makes you feel appreciated and valued. Don't waste your time with any other bank or Manager!!!!

  I want to take a moment to thank Laurel for her kindness and customer service. I’d been having a rough day and saw her regarding my account and broke down into tears. She couldn’t have been any nicer to me and worked quickly to help me out and solved my problem by the end of the day. Thank you so much Laurel! I appreciate it more than you know!
