  He’s worth every penny and more. He was really thorough and found things we wouldn’t have even known to look for. He showed us things as we went so we would know what to look for in future. Even though he found a lot of issues he made it a pleasant experience because he’s funny and he really talked to us. He spent a lot of time making sure he found everything. I will definitely use his services again if I need another house inspection and I would highly recommend him.

  I had the pleasure of working with John during the inspection of a potential new home. He had showed up to the home ahead of time so by the time I showed up for the appointment he already had a strong understanding of the house. He was able to detail everything of concern with the house as well as list out anything that needed repair. John was professional and honest the entire time, and found multiple issues that were not previously disclosed by the seller of the house. It felt good to have someone like John on my side to help make an educated decision on a huge commitment such as buying a house. I would recommend John and Amelia’s Home Inspection to anyone looking for an inspection.

  John was very efficient with his work, he arrived on time and gave me a full description of everything. Safety is number one with John and he pointed out safety concerns for my family. Exactly what I was looking for. My wife and I were very pleased with his job and would highly recommend him for you home inspection for home owners.

  I really enjoyed experience with John, I learned so much from the process. He had incredible attention to detail, and explained not only what he found, but how to fix it, and how serious of a problem it could be. He worked around my schedule and did a thorough job on the inspection. We got our inspection report the same evening and it was complete and easy to understand. I feel so much more confident buying the home after having worked with John. Additionally, he was pleasant to work with I would recommended him for your home inspection!

  I purchased a home in January 2019 in Greenfield. My regular home inspector was on vacation. I need an inspector right away so I search Google I saw John's company Amelia's. I looked at John's credentials very impressive. I called John told him I was on a time restraint John was able to meet me 3 days later at the property. John found many problems. Under the drop ceiling in the basement John found some burned boards the owner of the home didn't disclose that the home was involved in a fire both back bedrooms were burned out I terminated that property immediately. While searching for another property I called John a couple times for some advice his advice help me find another home 6 weeks later in West Allis. John impressed me so much he did my second home inspection John went over the next home with a fine-tooth comb found a couple problems. Because of the problems John found I was able to get several thousand dollars knocked off the purchase price. John is always available on the phone for advice. I recommend John to all my family and friends he's my new home inspector now. John is a good man a family man. With a beautiful daughter named Amelia. See you at my next home John thank you

  I had a condo inspection today 8/26/19 with John and he did a great job. After he completed his inspection he walked me through the entire place and explained everything he was noting, and explained why certain issues happen, and he also told me approximate costs to fix these items and generally how to fix them if I wanted to do it myself, he even explained items that were not broken how the hot water heater works and how to check the temperature and if only cold water is coming out and how to fix it. He delivered the report electronic on his site, very good details with pictures of items and arrows, not only for the seller but reminders for me to double check. The report is easy to read and follow, didn't have any questions with it. To me that is great great service, highly recommend John to anyone.

  John is the nicest guy, understanding, respectful and professional! He did a termite inspection and air quality test. He explained everything in detail. He went beyond and pointed out potential problems that needed attention aside from the listed inspections he performed. I'm always skeptical about seeing so many 5 star ratings for one company but after the experience I had I believe it.

  I was informed we needed an inspection done before we close on our VA home loan. I texted John last night and he immediately called me. We talked about everything that was needed. With Labor Day coming this weekend he was able to squeeze our inspection in today so we can close in a few days. Very thorough inspection and was preformed in a timely matter. Absolutely recommend John and this company.

  John was great! Went looking for an investment property and actually rejected the first house after he found numerous concerns. A week later I found another prospect and called John after I had an accepted offer. He did another amazing job. Would highly recommend. Detail oriented, thorough, and professional.

  John came the day after I called for an inspection on our 100+ years old house for an insurance application. He noted both the appeal of the house as well as suggested remediations (and offered tradespeople he had confidence in). With any question or concern I had, John took the time to respond. I'm pleased with John and the quality of his report.
