  After going through 5 different lenders and after failing underwriting, Phaedra at Altitude helped us find out how to get things moving again. We were able to get our first house for our little family and they were really great! They got the appraisal set up fast, processed all our documents fast and were super easy to talk to! It was such a nice change of pace, after not hearing back from others like Fairway Mortgage on two different occasions. They really make you feel like a priority!

  Mike Rohde at Altitude has been an absolute dream to work with! When we bought our first house, we ran into some speed bumps and inconveniences, and I was expecting things to be more complicated this time around. I was seriously astonished at how smoothly the process went with Mike - he was always prompt, responsive, thorough, and happy to explain things any time we had questions. The loan went through without a single hitch, and we even closed a week early! I've referred my dad to Altitude for his next home loan, which is really the best testimonial I can possibly give.

  My wife and I purchased a home using Altitude Home Loans because of Mike Rohde. When I first met him almost 14 years ago , he was extremely professional, helpful and knowledgeable. It was my first home purchase using VA eligibility and he knew right what to do. I was nervous about home ownership, unsure I would even qualify, but he made me feel relaxed and understood. Now with our last purchase, I sought him out again, to get the same wonderful experience. We were not disappointed, as we got a great home that neither of us thought possible, yet Mike was just as he has always been, patient, caring, and diligent. He went above and beyond our expectations by being up front and honest, and talking with us making sure all of our questions were answered. I hope he never retires, but assuming the rest of the office is of the same caliber as Mike, I would not hesitate to use Altitude Home Loans in the future.

  I recently refinanced my home with Altitude. I was totally impressed with how knowledgeable they were on what was required to get a loan approved. I spent 8 months trying to get a refinance done with Wells Fargo and gave up. They know their business and gave excellent advice throughout what was a very short process 2 months, it would have been less if we had not caused a delay at the end. As anybody who is self employed knows the home loan process can be exceedingly frustrating. Matt Liddicoat assured me that they knew what was needed to give us the best chance to be approved. We had to provide a lot of information. It was processed quickly. Matt was correct we did get approved with no drama. Altitude knows their business and gets to know their clients quickly. They were a refreshing change from all my previous experiences with obtaining a loan. Thank you Matt and Heather for a job well done from a very happy client.

  Almost the first thing I thought of when interest rates dropped at the beginning of COVID was hmm maybe this will be a great time to refinance. I naïvely thought this process would be simple and straightforward if we just used the company that we had been using to service our loan Ie NewRez. This was a disaster, after assuring us that we got the absolute lowest interest rate and completing repairs recommended by the appraiser they dropped the application… we got a call asking why we left the process and then had to restart the process again. Many many credit checks and signed rate lock documents later and … we were ghosted again! Ugh I should have known that we should have just gone with Phaedra at Altitude home loans again. It’s a mere month later we just got confirmation that our loan has been completed at the interest rate promised by Newrez before they ghosted us for the second time. Thanks for making this process so easy!

  I recently had an opportunity to work with Altitude Home Loans to refinance my house. My initial contact was with Matt Liddicoat. I sent an email on a Saturday expecting a response on Monday. He replied within an hour! On a Saturday! Needless to say the rest of my experience was equally impressive. Great service, fast turnaround time, responsive and professional. And he secured me a great rate. I will definitely use Altitude Home Loans the next time I need to buy or refinance a home.

  I cannot recommend Matt Liddicoat and his team more highly! I had a bit of a complicated refinance because of a government backed program on my first loan, and these folks got me through it in record time and with zero complications. When I needed them, they were *right* there with answers to my questions, literally within minutes. If you're looking for people who know what they're doing and LOVE what they do to help you with a refi or a new loan, check these folks out. You won't be disappointed!
