DON'T trust this bank with your money!! Opened an account and they had to have the manager check it, but the manager had NO clue what they're doing. She added an extra $40k to my account, then had to have the manager remove it. What is going on with this mickey mouse outfit?

      Response from the owner

Hello Mike -- I apologize about your experience with A+ FCU. I have passed your feedback on to the appropriate department. Thank you.

Worst auto loan experience ever! I purchased a car through CarMax who gives 3 days to find another financial lender. My credit is awesome and I got the loan through this A+ Credit Union with a great rate. The loan officer stated that I had completed all the needed paperwork and that nothing more was needed from me. My first car payment was drafted from my account by A+ Credit Union to pay CarMax. I thought everything was fine and had no reason to think otherwise. A couple of days later CarMax called me to say they hadn't received a payment, and that I needed to make the payment immediately plus a late fee so it wouldn't affect my credit. A+ was supposed to make the payment to CarMax. I called A+ Credit Union loan officer, and he proceeded to tell me that although A+ Credit Union drafted the money from my account that it didn't get sent to CarMax because he claims that "something went wrong with CarMax and they have these problems a lot." I asked to get the fax confirmation that showed he sent the loan documents to CarMax and he said he didn't have them. He said that "sometimes they follow up with CarMax to make sure all the paperwork goes through but it's more of a courtesy for the customer than a standard process. And that it was my responsibility to ensure the paperwork had gone through." I had no way of knowing that was my responsibility because he stated he would take care of everything with CarMax. So, A+ drafted my car payment from my account so I was out that car payment plus an additional car payment. Where did the car payment that A+ drafted go? Nowhere. They pulled it out of my Wells Fargo account and did nothing with it. I was eventually refunded the money after a few days but thank goodness I had a savings account to cover the 2nd car payment. I escalated the issue to the loan officer's manager and then her manager but the response was the same, "It was my responsibility to ensure the loan documents from A+ Credit Union were correctly sent to CarMax." I told them I wasn't notified that it was my responsibility but now that I know I will go follow up with CarMax because something must had gone wrong on CarMax's side. I requested the fax confirmation that my loan docs were sent from A+ to CarMax so I could take this up with CarMax. She said she had it but "couldn't send it to me because that was internal information and they can't send out internal information." So I can't have the documentation I need to follow up but yet it's my responsibility to do so. Guys, this is insane! I've never dealt with a more unprofessional company than this. I will never do business with A+ Credit Union ever again.

I've been with them for about three and a half years, and at first I was always pleased. Six or seven months ago, I wanted to refinance a vehicle just to get a lower payment and a little better interest rate. I have excellent credit and have financed seven vehicles with no late payments at all. At first, the business part at the local branch went fine. When put online to a central office, at first, all wen well. A second person told us curtly that they would not refinance. My vehicle had a fair market value of $25k, and I was seeking to refinance $15k, with an excellent credit record of over 40 years. Extremely impersonal. We felt like criminals as we left the branch. Never turned downed before, anywhere. And we got new car financing at the best interest rate available a few days later, plus I had multiple offers from other banks to refinance. The Android app only works half the time, too. Don't want to switch accounts right now, though. Otherwise, we like the local branch, but I would never consider financing anything with them.

I’ve been banking here 10+ years. They are wonderful. My only complaint is if you have to call them for any reason, the wait time on hold to speak with someone is RIDICULOUSLY long! They need to hire about 500 more employees

      Response from the owner

Hi Marcella - thanks for your review and for the feedback. We'll pass your message along to the appropriate person. Have a great day!

I've had it with this bank and all other banks of this branch. I've been to this location multiplied times about 30 min before there posted closing hours and they've always been closed before posted hours. Even a couple of time at the 1431 location in cedar park as well Monday I'm closing my account and going to another bank.

      Response from the owner

Hi Shawn- thank you for the review. I have sent your comment to our management team. If you'd like to discuss, please call us at 512-302-6800. Thank you.

The people that I have worked with at this location have been wonderful. My biggest issue with A + is how difficult it is to communicate with the people there. If you need to reach anyone you have to call the main number. It often then goes to a voicemail. The branch phone numbers are unlisted.

      Response from the owner

Hi Daniel, I apologize for the inconvenience. I have passed your review along to management. If you would like to discuss this further, please give us a call at 513.302.6800.

But once we got the check I said I'd like to cash it so I could purchase my new one and they went round and round then said that we were not members they couldn't cash the check
