  My boyfriend and I(both first time home home buyers), expected the process to be long, exhausting and stressful just based on the competitiveness and outrageous home prices in this market today. Also, we were nervous about the process because we’ve never done this before. But Brian and his team made everything so easy and worked so hard for us. They were kind to educate us, were very patient with us and helped us get into a beautiful home and we are so grateful. They did so much work on the back end and stayed in constant communication, that it just seemed so easy and stress free for us.   Brian and his entire team were delightful to work with. Anytime I had a question, it was answered promptly and politely. The whole team took their time to explain all the parts of the lending and purchasing process. They were professional, friendly and attentive. They made sure that the closing process was seamless.   Brian was a pleasure to work with and was with me throughout the entire home buying process. He and his team of underwriters are quick, efficient, and communicative. He was able to answer all of my questions and was honest with me about what he believed I was able to afford when it came to buying a new home. He took the time to make sure I understood each step of the process so I was comfortable with making such big financial choices. It’s a shame I’m not buying another house anytime soon because I’d use him again in a second!   In keeping my review brief, I wanted to highlight the wonderful experience I had while using Brian Crooks as my mortgage lender. Austin is a very competitive market and coupled with the complexities of Covid-19, I knew closing on a home would require more than your average lender. From the point of contact until after I closed, Brian was nothing but friendly, helpful, and generally wanted to make my experience as seamless as possible. He answered or returned calls in a timely manner, was able to guide me through collecting needed documents, and remained available throughout the process including to insure my loan was funded and keys were in my hand. I highly recommend Brian and am more than happy to be a reference as he will be my go to lender in the future.
