"Diego Bonilla deserves 0 stars. After several weeks of him having all necessary information, he finally got back to us with a verbal pre-approval. He let us know he had to check on how the taxes were split for the two homes we wanted to purchase, hence only getting a verbal approval at that time. When he told us the taxes would prevent him from approving us for the two homes on one parcel, he never specified that we would no longer be approved at all. I’ve been calling and texting Diego for a week trying to get a final answer on if we are approved, since he did say we were. Now we are forced to renew our lease rather than buying a home right now because he wasted so much of our time. It’s not about if we got approved or not, he still should’ve let us know before completely ghosting us. I do not recommend working with New American Funding and I would highly encourage you to not work with Diego, unless you have time to waste and the energy to deal with his lack of professionalism."
