Autumn Sliz1We’ve been members at this branch for years and everyone’s always been so friendly. We got approved for a mortgage with Brenda Burke and due to the pandemic we had to cancel it and try again this month. We’re now being told my income doesn’t count but my husbands does because my job is part time and his is full yet it qualified when we first got approved. She never answers our questions, emails or the phone. It’s taken 2 weeks to attempt to get an approval amount causing us to loose offering on a home. We spent a lot of time and money trying to get approved only to be left feeling defeated and undervalued as customers. This experience was completely different than our first time with her. We were given the run around and treated poorly. I wouldn’t recommend using her as a lender for a mortgage.
Response from the ownerThank you for providing this feedback, Autumn. Can you please give us a call at 313-336-2700 so we can speak with you regarding your experience? You can reach us Monday through Friday 8am–6pm and Saturday 9am–2pm. Thank you, DFCU Financial

kerry kotowski5They are helpful, nice, and easy to work with especially for borrowing and paying back loans. Your local branch is there to help you through and streamline processes. Online bill pay is also set up well. Rates are good especially with member 1/2 percent dividends even on borrowed amounts.
Response from the ownerThanks so much for your review, Kerry. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. DFCU Financial

Bret DesErmia5Fantastic service! They were able to easily put together jumbo refinance options for our home when other lenders did not seem very interested. Their cash back program is a great benefit that annually puts several thousand dollars back in our pocket. Wish there was a location closer to my home with Saturday hours, but that is the only minor issue I see with using DFCU Financial for all your banking needs.

Jeff Zhu1I have been with dfcu for a long time. Alomost all my bill pay is doing there. However, it starts charging me for 50 cents per bill pay if it is over 5 bills per month. The worst thing happened last month (July 2014). I was over 2 bill pays. DFCU charged me $2.50. I called me yesterday, they claimed it was mistake and would refund me $1.50 (haven't seen that happens yet). This is a terrible service. I will start moving my funds out and close my account with them. Folks, if you are a member of DFCU, please watch out your bill pay account.

Dana Glinski1Horrible since new ATM went in.........used to be able to make deposits and withdrawals. Now since they installed the new machines I can withdraw money for a fee and I can not make any deposits. Great changes I don't think so won't be back again.
