  Love this place ! I have bought everything from tools to jewlery and have always gotten a fair price! Have also gotten loans on jewlery that were twice as high as other pawn shops in the area. If your new to trying out pawn shops just know the sticker price means nothing here, thry love to haggle on a price . Here and c and s in norwich can not be beat , if you go anywhere else you most likely are getting ripped off

  I've done business several times with YYP. I've dealt with both Dave and Matthew and they are genuinely a pleasure to work with. They are fair, honest, and make the process of selling or pawning quick and easy. There's a lot to look at in the store as well, so whether you're looking to buy or sell they've got you covered.

  I've been going to Yankee pawn for almost 19 years they are the only shop I trust. They've always been super kind helpful and always gave me the best price for any item. I really don't have one negative thing to say.

  Best pawn shop I have used in CT! The only pawn I will use now because of the professional treatment they give everyone. I have pawned items and sold items with them and they ALWAYS give the BEST prices are the most professional. The pandemic has me financially strapped like alot of people and Chris worked with me for months to help me keep ALL my pawned items. Including waiting beyond the time I had to pay on my items many times. I can't say enough about those gentlemen, a huge THANK YOU! xxx

I always have a great experience when I go to make a purchase or a pawn. They were there for me when I had many surgeries & needed extra cash. They go out of they,re way to help a customer. I,m very happy with service and polite atmosphere that all the locations have. I continue to go to Yankee Peddler to make purchases and pawns.   Drove down from northern Mass today and purchased items from Joe and the guys. What a great experience. Learned about the store through items I was interested in that they had advertised on Craig's List. Store was clean, neat and organized. Tools and other merchandise was clean, clearly marked and easy to view. The staff was helpful but not pushy. It is over an hour drive for me but I will return in the future. Items are well worth the cost savings to make the trip. Thanks Guys!

  Today was the first time I've ever tried to sell my jewlery at a pawn shop. Earlier in the day I was treated very poorly at a different shop in a nearby town. The owner wouldn't even give me a price and told me not to waste my time going anywhere else. I tried Yankee Peddler & Pawn instead and got 100% better service. They gave me the time of day even though they were technically closed and let me trade in my jewelry for a lovely new ring! I would recommend this pawnshop to everyone I know.

  Have done business here for yrs. At one point in 2014 I was there every Thursday for months!! I have never ever had any issues at all. I always received my fair amount on my items. sometimes more then fair.The guys down at ypp takes care of this community. I can honestly say there my first stop when ever i'm looking for any man toys lol , jewelry, electronics and More. They will always have my business, friendship and appreciation.. Thank you guys keep up the great work!!
