  I recently opened an account with Wings! Quite frankly, I really wanted to love this credit union, as their rates were excellent and the location is perfect for me. However, when I informed my loan agent that I am a senior medical student and do not have an income for a short period of time, I was talked to and treated as a second-class citizen. It was a really embarrassing and demoralizing experience, and was ultimately the reason behind me cancelling my loan with Wings. I was able to find great local credit union service elsewhere. All being said, I am hoping that I will have better experiences with Wings in the future.

  I won't get into explicit detail in this review especially because they felt the need to not get into any detail at all with my dealing with them. I tried to do a wire transfer and they denied the transfer for vague reasons. The banker was rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. Despite being early in the morning her attitude was that of 4:30 on a Friday as if I was inconveniencing her by trying to do business with them. I had to twist their arm to get a hold of their department in order to get any sort of reasoning or explanation of what was going on. Exceptionally poor vague service. I get that credit unions are supposed to be better than the banks but it seems like the two are competing right now for who is the lesser of two evils.

  I went to go renew my card and it felt like okay I got my new card. Then the same day I use it, it’s been has fraud alert on it for some reason. I had to send them a message on there site and they said that they needed to activate it which is weird cause why the f they couldn’t do it there when I renew my card. The person told me he activated it and said my card is fine now. AND WHENEVER YOU F CALL THEM THEY NEVER EVER PICK UP, I HAVE TRIED MANY TIMES. Mind you this was 9am-10am in the morning. They have multiple locations and not even one picked up for assistance. My card is still not working.

  Hello Timothy, I'm sorry you had this experience. You can also activate new cards in our app or online banking website. I also apologize for any long wait times you experienced when you called. We're working to improve that. Another option is using our online chat, which if you ask to speak with an agent can do almost anything our phone agents can, with less of a wait.   The worst customer service experience. Wings should consider closing this branch seriously! I would not want to speak to any of disrespect advisors. They full of sh** and they can talk down to customer who more knowledge and experience. Went to open money manager saving account I should never stop foot into Minnetonka location. I have more personable customer service at Apple Valley that actually ppl say hello to you and acknowledge your present. Please do yourself a favor stay as far away from this location.

  You get a five-star review for giving me a call back before the meeting actually writing it down and flagging it is a matter that needed to be attended to so I get the call back sometimes he won't even do that they're just playing stupid role and give your call center also a good review because I don't know why they dispatched me directly to you guys and it worked but there'll be another review from a different account for when you actually help me

  I have been a member of this credit union since before I could drive, and have been continued to use them, because they arent antagonistic to their clients. Maybe it's because of the golden rule, but in all my years, never once have I felt like they were acting against my interests. When you bank at Wings, you _know_ you won't wake up to suprise fees, or something else like that. There are ATMs all over the place, and knowing that you aren't bankrolling Wallstreet CEOs is valuable beyond the monetary aspect, in my opinion.

  Most help is delightful and professional. Did not appreciate one banker from whom I needed assistance with anomalies on my account. She acted as if I needed to call the vendors first before giving me a form for investigations (Mr Hyde) but when I rose to leave, she turned into Dr. Jekyll and was sweet and accommodating, handing me a form. If I ever need help again I would go to a different branch.

  From a mortgage to auto loan and other accounts, Wings has been nothing but helpful. I honestly expected a smaller credit union to have subpar electronic banking options, but Wings can compete with the "big guys" without all if the pushy sales pitches and scam phone calls (though there is a little bit of junk mail that I wouldn't mind making go away! Anyway, thanks Wings for your excellent service!

  Slow, and not helpful. Just your average run of the mill banks that head the Credit Union line. Don't get me wrong but when they are saying they offer you free checking with no hidden fee's as their attachment, that is basic knowledge we got from fraudulent banks. How about you offer quick service and no hassle. I got neither. Glad I am not banking there.
