  One star is generous. Call them Goldwater or Weststar, the service is still excruciatingly awful, incompetent and rude. It took 2 weeks to close a mortgage after I stopped dealing with this company.

  Seriously and awful company. I wish I’d gone through with a local company but my realtor suggested them. I can never get past customer service. The phone rings and rings until you are asked to leave a message. It’s awful and super unprofessional.

  Stay away from them, all the 1 star reviews are accurate. I’m refinancing with another lender just so I don’t have to ever deal with them again.

  They have functioned as escrow agent for a real estate contract on a commercial building I purchased seven years ago. Service has been great! I get an email every month as a receipt for my payments (I set them up to be made automatically) which gives me a detailed breakdown of how much went to interest, how much to principal, etc... I like that! The few times that there have been any complications such as with the insurance and taxes (which they impound) they have been clear, prompt, and courteous in helping me sort it out. I would recommend them.

  WestStar used to be a great escrow company. I have a purchaser in a home of mine who pays late consistently and constantly. WestStar allows the individual to pay whatever he wants whenever he wants. He is charged late fees..... but WestStar took it upon themselves to take his late payments (instead of sending them to me) and apply it toward the principal of the loan 🤯. They refuse to send out demand letters, they take payments in any amount from a purchaser. A “Team Leader” by the name of Stephanie is rude and very misinformed on her job. I’ve personally hand carried documents to them and they are constantly lost. Stay away from this group!

  I've worked there and they simply don't care about customers or their employees, care about just making money. Move your business quickly to another loan/mortgage company; you'll be sorry otherwise, in my opinion.

  Tanya at West Star Mortgage is an absolute super star, if you ever need help with your mortgage or anything related she is the go to.

  Rude and incompetent. Nothing can be done online, but anything mailed to them will be ignored except your check. Unfortunately, my mortgage was sold to them, I never made the choice to be their customer and highly suggest no one else ever do.

  By far the worst experience out there. Very money hungry company... Do not use these folks even with a VA loan. Constantly being redirected to other folks who then forward you off to another company. Received insurance funds and has taken a year to get items fixed/repaired. Once finally able to get funds, they only give the contractor half the amount required to do the job.
