  Monday 01/10/2022 on line info states Lakewood commons location closes at 6pm yet they closed at 5pm . I arrived 5:02pm not being able to enter I contact customer service n assistant informs me that lobby closes at 5pm drive thru closes at 6pm lakewood commons doesn't have a drive thru. False info on Google maps . thank you for responding😁

  Hi Heather Sparks we are so sorry about the business hours mix up. We had just changed our business hours starting that Monday, Jan. 10th and had sent out emails to our members, notifications, posts on social and an alert our website. I personally made the changes to Google Maps that morning, so not sure why they didn't show up, but I sincerely apologize for this mistake. I also fixed the drive-up mix up that was wrongly listed on Maps. Please do let us know if you need any further assistance. Thank you and hope you have a lovely day

  I changed from using an out of state bank as my primary bank to using Westerra CU for all of my main banking transactions. I have been with Westerra for over 25 years and they always have offered excellent customer service. Now, since my other bank has lessened the quality of their customer service, I am happy to be using Westerra CU's services more fully. Reina, in Banking Solutions, helped me to set up online banking simply and effectively. She was patient and very considerate of my banking questions and problems, solving them with a friendly and professional attitude. This is a bank that cares about its customers.

  Big messy situation that could have been taken care of. Didn't remove an auto loan that decreased my credit score in a timely manner. Dealer cancelled and Westerra wanted me to get a letter of credit voided that was already expired. Doesn't make sense to make me void something that isn't even valid anymore. Was told they don't expire but clearly does state that in the letter. Now I have complications getting my new car for no good reason.

  Terrible credit unit, terrible service. In person, the staff has a terrible attitude. Through email they seem as if technology is new to them. I have 3 accounts with them and a mortgage, and it takes ALOT of babysitting for them to fulfill their end of things, from signing documents to sending replacement for expired debit cards and everything else in between. I have banked here for 5 years and can say the only thing Westerra is consistent with is lazy service. I would not recommend this credit union to anyone.

Can you email us your phone and full name to [email protected] with the specific issues that you're having with your accounts? Regarding the expired debit cards, the new cards are automatically requested and sent before your old ones expire. You don't have to request them. Did you have an issue where you didn't receive your new debit card on time before the previous one expired? Let us know. Thank you

  There customer service was not great at all. I walked in an hour before they closed to open a checking account, which should not take more than 30 minutes. The teller that had been assisting me was a bit rude in regards to the process of opening an account. Then had been hesitant on getting someone to help me. After a few minutes she comes from the back saying I could not open an account today but I could come back and schedule an appointment. There should not have been a problem to open a simple checking account but there was and to add, there was not a single customer in the branch. I would consider a different location. They do not put there customer first, I have been to branches who are more then willing to open up accounts 20 minutes before close. Very unfortunate experience.

  Been with this CU for over 5 years. I do all my business true them. Never been late on a car payments or overdrawn on my account. The reason for the low ratings is because when I came to get a small personal loan to consolidate a small debt I have I was denied. Long history with them and they show no loyalty back. I feel like I'm banking with Chase banks.

  My dad and I worked with Mark S a few times over the last couple weeks. Never has anyone be so amazing to work with. He went above and beyond to help us settle my mothers accounts. I’m so happy we to have worked with and hope to again someday.

  I love banking here!! KEVIN is the sweetest! I have never had any problems with service in my 3 years of banking with them! Edit: this locations staff has really gone down hill I never feel helped when I leave and most time told to go to another location... not cool I know I'm young but have been a member for a very long time. Just wish I could be treated like a person like they do at other Westerra branchs. Sad.
