  I've been a member of WCTFCU for over 15 years, and my parents and brother even longer than that. There has never been a day I'm not thrilled to have kept my membership no matter what state(s) I've lived in. Their customer service has always been above and beyond, and they seemingly effortlessly make you feel like family instead of a transactional customer. Anytime I call, I speak with someone who knows me personally and asks about my life and how things are going. To top it all off, I've never hung up without having the reason for my call addressed and issues resolved. I cannot recommend this wonderful credit union enough. Give them a call and see how they can help with your banking needs!

  I have been a member of the Western Connecticut Federal Credit Union for more than 20 years, though I haven't lived in Connecticut since 2009. People have asked me why I keep my money so far away from where I now live (in Maine). I do because of the countless times when I needed them and they were there. At times when I have been traveling (including internationally), the people at WCTFCU have been there for me when some major or minor glitch occurred. I am so grateful.

  I highly recommend Western CT FCU for all of your financial needs. They are always friendly, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to serve their members. It is visible through their cash back checking accounts and low loan rates how much they truly care about helping people!

  Would not recommend this credit union. Your funds are not yours and they constantly take money out without any form of communication. For any transaction you must wait the longest possible time for it to be approved on top of whatever other fees they steal from it as well. Overall very outdated and poor quality service and lacks care towards their customers.

  Recently, I had the opportunity to work with Sabrina and her team at WCFCU. They helped me with a home loan, and I am extremely thankful for all their help. From the beginning, Sabrina and the team helped me coordinate everything, including the lawyer and appraiser, which helped alleviate a lot of pressure from me. Throughout the process, the team at the credit union were not only professional, but also very friendly. Also, since the team is a local team, I found it much easier to communicate with them and get to know each other. Most importantly, the rate that I got was very competitive. Please keep in mind that the rate you get here and anywhere else might differ based on your financial position. If you need a home loan, car loan, personal loan, check/savings account, or any other financial product, I would recommend for you to start here. They will help evaluate your situation and recommend the best alternative, and you would not feel pressured by anyone to do anything you are not comfortable with. Personally, if I have any other financial need, they will be the first ones I go to.

  I had forgotten what it feels like to be recognized and valued by the people I bank with. WCFCU brings all that and a more personalized banking experience where you feel like they have your best interest in mind. I love them all and especially appreciate the service of Sabrina Z. You guys rock!

  I have been a Member of WCFCU for over 10 years and not once have been disappointed with their knowledge or responsiveness. Every person I have encountered from the drive thru to the message center has been a pleasure to work with and provided superior service.
