Wells Fargo Bank Reviews

Tasha St. Patrick1The “Branch Manager” Wasim Bashir is by far the rudest individual I have ever encountered. I initially waited over 30 minutes to be seen. Once seated with Wasim I was very transparent and clear with the things I needed. Wasim did not listen and/or understand my requests. After calling and waiting for the wrong department, he tells me I need to wait at his desk while he processes “shipment”. He returns 20 minutes later and refuses to help me without reason. I asked to escalate my concerns and he responds by asking me to leave. He was rude, loud and overbearing the entire time. While waiting in the lobby to speak with corporate customer service I also witnessed him yell and scream at another customer. I’m not sure how he was hired, much less promoted.

Ravi Vangala3No one available to check on you when you enter the branch, I have to wait for more than 10 minutes after my appointment time, to get to meet the associate who took care of my account open process.

Carol Lewis4Just a heads up to others that the drive-thru tellers do not have a lane with a drawer. You have to use one of those tube devices. My hands function poorly and I always use the drawer at drive-thrus because the tube devices are difficult. Nice enough people but I'll not return to this location.
Response from the ownerWe truly appreciate your feedback, Carol. If you’d like to discuss any concerns, please feel free to email us at [email protected] (no account numbers). Thanks for choosing Wells Fargo. -Nick, Wells Fargo HL Social

P patel1This bank location is worst in customer service. specially their bankers are not professional or efficient to provide better banking service. Their mindset to sell their banking products such as checking accounts and more. My family has been banking with them for longtime but we have recently closed our all accounts. I have found lack of customer service in this Wells Fargo branch and their associates are more deeply interested to sell. We highly encourage others, not to have relationship with this branch or their company because of they have more safety & privacy issues just like Equifax. Their scandals for millions of fake accounts, insurance frauds and employee abuses are popping up everyday along with some more federal penalties, our government must take harder actions against to this huge financial institution.

Craigslists ID2Just look for a local/regional bank. Wells Fargo is not a bank to deal with at store front. Mortgages over the phone are fine. But it is not designed or suitable to do your day today business with. The folks at this center(excluding the tellers) are bunch of idiots. Maybe some Deadbeat rejected car sales people. Car sales people know how to handle and answer questions and handle customers. These guys at Wells Fargo bank will sell you something and send you your way, and once you have an question or an issue, they ask you to call the 800 customer service. Good luck then. My recommendation is use one of the Credit Unions or maybe Sun-trust or BB&T. Now don't even think of BofA as well. Hope this helps. A customer of Wells Fargo for over 10 years.(8 of 10 years was all online/phone.)

Mario Kroll1Opened a new business account for my corporation in early July after weeks of being courted by their personal banker. Stopped in a few days after opening it online to inquire about the process of transferring funds out of my account, which I could only find an option to do if paying $3 per transaction, plus two other financial matters. I waited for an hour and was not seen, so left a message for the banker and branch manager. The next day no one had called me yet, so I called the branch again and was told "the manager is very busy and would call within a few days". No call ever came. I finally figured out how to withdraw funds by linking another external account and pulling funds that way, after many days waiting for the remote account to be verified by Wells Fargo. Today I've closed my two business accounts with them. A telling note: never once was I asked why I wanted to close my accounts or if I had any concerns. Reasons I would NOT bank with Wells Fargo: - Crooked business practices that recently cost them some 5,300 laid off employees for opening fraudulent accounts on behalf of their customers. Their CEO finally resigned, but not after a massive paycheck and profiting from the fraudulent practice. - Nickel and diming on every transaction. Monthly account minimum. Extra charges to view details on any check you deposit. Charge for every time you want to transfer funds to a bank account that is not Wells Fargo. The list goes on. - Poor customer service and non-response at my local branch. Thinking I could have banking support and access within 5 minutes of my home was why I chose this branch. Every time I've needed anything, I've had to deal with online customer service. As a business bank account holder that's a no go. - Longest transfer delays and deposit holds I've encountered from any major bank in the last 20 years. I guess they try to keep your money in their bank with fees to discourage you moving funds out. If that fails, they must benefit from the float, as I've never had it take 5 business days to transfer funs from one of my other bank accounts to an externally linked bank account via ACH transfers. (Oh, yes, I can do it faster as a wire, at an extra cost...) Don't bank here. There are so many better options. If you want a simple, limited frills, low cost option, check out Capital One's Spark Business banking, as example. Chase is also fantastic and if they had branches in NC, I would have continued on with them.

Anjana Banerjee3I came in to make a deposit late afternoon. Staff was friendly , but no one greeted me. The reason for my review, half the staff looks like they just stopped in to work here in between cooking and cleaning the house. They need some guidance on how one should be groomed and dressed, when one works in a banking institution. It is definitely the managers responsibility to keep up with the staff and how they portray the branch.

Don Rupeka1Always ghosting transactions and causing overdrafts in order to charge customers insufficient funds fees. Rude and disrespectful customer service. Dont trust Wells Fargo with your money! There is a reason they get sued and lose on a regular basis!

Kathi Cotney5I've used this branch for business for the last five years, and I've always received excellent customer service. They have free notary service for account holders, and I'd go in just for that pretty regularly. Great staff, they smile at you, very helpful. Sometimes during peak times I'd have to wait, but they always acknowledged me and let me know they would get to me soon.
