  I’m continuously treated like I’m doing something wrong at ferndale branch , multiple complaints have been made and nothing happens ,,,they call me by first name and say they like my new truck yet run me thru every hoop possible everytime I try to get my money ,even as far as forcing me to remove my sunglasses while I have a medically diagnosed migraine headache in order to get my money ,,,, low budget very low class financial system that lacks proper training ferndale is very unprofessional and the management needs to be replaced or maybe it’s the root of the mistreatment I receive here , some of these tellers literally jeopardize people’s financial situation by misinforming customers and basically just doing a terrible job , and that isn’t just ferndale it’s in the call center and at multiple

As an aside, there has been a sharp increase in instances of fraud causing all financial institutions to take extra precautions to correctly identify members when they visit a branch (hence the sunglass requirement).

  Real sad excuse for a credit union or bank. Used the atm to take out a 100 usd went inside to exchange for canadian as im on my way back via blaine and will need bus fare. Lady asked for my ID said they could do it then said they couldnt after as im not a member. Screw this pathetic credit union almost any other bank can process this transaction they just charge a fee or a few extra percentage on the exchange. You would figure being this close to the boarder they would be used to exchanging money. Will just have to use a REAL bank at blaine

  Staffs are good but other services such as online banking and transaction update is very slow if compared with other banks. I called online customer care for assistance as my debit card is not working neither my online banking transfer services and service representative told me to visit or call my financial institution on business hours as she is not able to view my account information on her system. It’s Saturday and I’m struck. Now thinking of moving my account to other bankers and not WECU. I strongly don’t recommend WECU if you like to view and make transactions online from your account and not visiting the bank.

  Hello Abdul, We're sorry to hear of your trouble with your debit card. It is true that when something like this happens, the best thing for you to do is visit a WECU branch. Just so you're aware, a number of months ago we began offering Saturday hours (9am-1pm) for the first time at our Contact Center and Sunset Branch in Bellingham.   I don't understand why this bank does this weird redeposit of already used funds. when I make purchases with my debit 💳 a few days later they redeposit the funds back into my account as available funds. as if it has been there with no indication of a deposit. There are many times I have had to pay fees and that's not fair. the bank should always have some kind of indication of not usable funds when I call to rebuke the fees they say it my fault for not keeping track of my balance .

  Above and beyond, customer service is #1. We have been banking with them since we dropped Key Bank... 0 effort from KEY. NEW BANK in Ferndale is what we needed. Cant say enough with all their help. Bravo Zulu, on a job. Well. DONE!!!

  Worst calling system nobody wants to pick up the phone worst experience for getting a car loan

  Hi Vicky, our Contact Center was down for two hours on Monday due to a power outage. A transformer blew up on Sunset Drive in Bellingham which caused many homes and businesses to be without power.

  A good bank that cares about its customers. They helped us through a tough time and had very fair rates on their loan. The loan set up took forever, but in the end it was worth it. It can be annoying/tough to pay your loan with them, though, if you don't bank through them. Keep that in mind and budget extra days to transfer your money (a) to the checking account they require you to have, and (b) then finally pay the bill. That is just too much of a hassle and ultimately is why we decided not to use them again. This branch, however, has good staff and prompt service.

  We have been banking with WECU since 2007. Very pleased with the service. We have used WECU for muliptle types of banking transactions and have had great experiences all around.

  I was working with Mellisa regarding a car loan, she left me a message a week later to review the details. I tried contacting her 7 times and left several messages, she never got back to me. Ended up going to a different bank and got approved for the loan. I will not bank with WECU.
