      I still like wawanesa, but what's going on with the billing. My policy is June to June. So in July I get a statement for a payment for six months ouch but OK. Now September I got another statement for the next six months . So that should cover me through June 2018 but they tell me in January 2018 I'll get another statement for the next six months and then in March 2018 I'll get another statement for the last six months. So after all those are paid I shouldn't have to pay any insurance until June 2019 doesn't seem to make sense

      I've been with Wawanesa for over 15 years and never once ever had a problem. These negative reviews are from other people who work for other insurance companies or drunks that have been cancelled. I always check for best rates and not 1 insurance company can match let alone beat their rates...Sincerly, David Kraft

      I will be looking for a new insurance company. We have been with Wawanesa for three years and have all their discounts due to good driving records. I moved from an apartment to a house in a good area now my insurance goes up with no reason. I will not recommend Wawanesa to anyone.

      I have been their customer for years. They have always been the best price. Recently after all these years we finally had a loss. One of my Children away at college hit a deer at full speed. Totaled our favorite four runner. I can't tell you how great it was to deal with such amazing customer service. Dustin Cernitz was my first contact. He explained the process extremely well. We then were assigned a claims analyst Melissa Evans. Again very sensitive to our needs. On two other follow up calls any person in the same dept would pick up the ball. shout out to Dj Briones and Sandra Miron for such quick response. I'm never going to another company.

      Absolutely one of the worst insurance companies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with in a long time , what happened to the good customer service they once had! In plain simple english it seems this company could care less about they're customers what I have encountered in dealing with this company is unbelievable. 1, They do not answer phones and if you somehow manage to get through they hang up on you! 2, Don't expect them to support you in any way shape or form your on your own you have to do your own legwork are these people are just plain Lazy! 3, they are experts at phone tag and they move you from adjuster to adjuster to confuse you and are experts at sending confusing form letters that tell you absolutely Nothing! about your claim, where is the personal touch they once had! in dealing with the customers 4, in my case the lady was a hit and run, her insurance company Safeco has already decided to settle and pay for my damages they personally called me and told me this over a month ago and three weeks ago quickly paid me for my additional out of pocket costs for a rental car on the other hand Wawanesa No response!, No! info, No! nothing!, 5, But guess what to this day Wawanesa has not paid me my $500.00 deductible ,. But today after making many phone calls, I finally got a response from a Wawanesa supervisor I expressed my frustrations in dealing with her company hopefully she will forward my complaints and frustration to upper management so they can try to enact changes and bring back good service to the customers 6, Years ago Wawanesa had great customer service I hope they try to bring it back! but it will take some doing

      The only reason I am still with Wawanesa is honestly because they are the cheapest so far; otherwise, they have the worst customer service I've ever seen! Hopefully, one day there would be another good insurance with competitive prices with Wawanesa, and we will all see how they will lose so many good drivers like me. I wish I could rate them lower than one star!

      Never had cause to file a claim so I don't know how they are about that. Their prices are good, when I compared. But after years with this company, I'm looking for another insurer; why? Because of their petty and ridiculous actions AFTER they over-charged me by almost $300. I was paying via bank deduction, 3 times a year. My last payment of $300 was debited TWICE to my account (on the same day and within a few seconds of each other, according to Wawanesa). This caused my bank account to be overdrawn (for which bank obviously charged me a fee). When confronted with their mistake, they not only refused to pay my bank overdraft fee but CHARGED ME an additional $15 fee for the overdraft !! Of course I thought a simple phone call would at LEAST take care of THAT $15 fee ..... but even with a "supervisor" involved, they refused to credit back the $15. Remember .... I owed NOTHING on my account, because my $300 pmt was on time .... TWICE ! This ridiculous rigidity and lack of admitting their mistake tells me what kind of company they are, and I don't want to encounter this if I should ever have a claim. Goodbye, Wawanesa.

      I just cancelled my policy after 22 years. The reason is another large premium increase-that's 2 years in a row ! I drive very little and have a perfect driving record. I was able to save about 11% by switching to AAA.

      Hi I'm currently repairing a car for a customer. Wawanesa adjuster wrote an estimate. Adjuster then told me he was not allowed to pay shop labor rates to repair car correctly. He informed me he had been restricted by his corporate office to not pay Auto Body Shops the correct labor to repair customers vehicles. I called Wawanesa Corporate office on this matter and just received voicemail. I have been in business for over 30 years. Something has changed with this company and it is not positive. Please try AAA, USAA, State Farm, Progressive or Farmers this company is doing shaddy business practices beware. Update two days later and many calls to Wawanesa, many voice mails, not a single reply back from the company it's self. They appear to just flat not care!!!! In regards to response from management company hired by Wawnesa to make their Google page look better. I appreciate the response however Wawanesa flat just doesn't care. Pretty sad they have a 2.5 and pay a firm to make them look better. This means in reality they have a Google 1 star rating at best.

      Not really sure why they are rated bad. I've had nothing but good experiences. They have a really good rate! They need to cut costs, so I'll give their customer service a pass. I don't care, $400 for my car can't be beat.
