  Erika Slayton was a tremendous help throughout the whole home buying process. She helped with tips for credit all the way to ensuring the closing of the house. She was very professional and detailed and was there when I had any questions or concerns. Erika made it happen and I am extremely grateful for her help! 5 Stars!!!

  Jeff Motes was the ultimate professional who guided me, a first-time home buyer, every step of the way. He made it very easy to understand the process and answered every question I had. I give high praise to Jeff for making it a pleasant experience. I would recommend him to anyone needing a mortgage advisor.

  honest an clear communication from day one until the day of closing, everyone is very knowledgeable, i worked with other leasing offices in the past, but Erika and her team are at another level, will definitely do businesses with them again; I highly recommend them.

  I've often heard that purchasing a home is one of the most stressful situations a person can go through, I can honestly say this was not the case for me. Erika was amazing and my closing process went smoothly. One of the many things Erika did initially was to set up a meeting via zoom and reviewed the whole process of purchasing a home, she allowed times for all questions and gave me a welcome step by step kit. This helped me to understand where I was in the process to close on my home and what was left to be completed. No matter what time I called, email or text Erika was quick with her response and never me feel as though I was a burden. I can not say enough about Erika Slayton she is excellent in her job and the Wallick & Volk Mortgage company is acts as well oiled machine. Because of the big freeze in Texas I was concerned that I would no be able to close on time, I can happily say this my fears ...did not manifest. This amazing team worked after hours and on the weekend to ensure I closed on time.. For first time buyers or seasoned buyers if you want the best I would 100% advise you to reach out to Wallick & Volk they treat you like family.

  Going through the process of refinancing my home, I couldn’t have asked for anyone better than Jeff Motes to help navigate me through it all. Not only was Jeff extremely professional but he was also exceptionally compassionate and down to earth. My circumstances were a little complicated but he made sure I was informed of my options throughout the process and explained in great detail what to expect.   I have been sending clients to Erika Slayton of Wallick & Volk mortgage for over six years now. There are other lenders, and buyers have a choice. I have never been disappointed by their service. Erika’s team works very hard in getting buyers preapproved and closed, many times after hours and weekends. When other lenders fail, I’ve always been able to turn to Erika and her team at Wallick & Volk.

  Working with Jeff Motes at Wallick & Volk made it easy and practical as he guided us through the process, had great patience with us in explaining the required documents needed, and then helped us every step of the way when we had questions. We have worked with other lenders before who are strict about their availability; Jeff was able to work with us when we needed. We have never had this level of service before in closing/refinancing a home. We are thoroughly pleased!

  Working with Ana was definately a journey worth taking. She was patient, consistent, and very knowledgable. For someone taking a leap of faith for getting their first home, she was very fast at replying back and helping us. I wasn't the best at keeping my frustrations hidden, because it was hard understanding terms and keeping up with getting a house, wedding, and a new addition to our family. But with a plate full, she was reassuring and still assisted me with any questions or calls. SHE'S THE BEST! We're very grateful for her and her patience answering every question for us.
