  Very good experience completing a refinance with Vista lending. They were very responsive to emails and calls, which is something on which I place quite a bit of importance. Also very efficient in completing the process. Hope to work with them again.

  I've refinanced more times than I can count over the last 40 years. It's always a painful process, especially for responsible individuals with irregular cash flows. Approaching retirement, it's even more problematic, even when you have enough assets to pay off any existing mortgage. But why would you? Sonya at Vista Lending had a creative and practical solution that afforded me an opportunity to shave a full point off my existing rate. I'll make the closing costs in 7 months. This is after my existing lender and two other mortgage brokers told me there was no way to do a refinance given my circumstances. It seems ludicrous to me the same income percentage requirements apply to borrowers of all ages, family sizes, income levels and loan-to-value ratios. Does a family earning $300K a year eat 4 times as much food as one earning $75K? Shouldn't it matter whether you're a family with two kids in college or a single person about to go on social security? No matter, if it can be done, I bet Vista can do it for you.

  Vista Lending is great! Mike, Misty, Sarah, Jennifer and the rest of the team there really have it together. My wife and I were in a time crunch to close on a home and they got us approved in 2 weeks so we could close within the month! I highly recommend Vista Lending to anyone looking to finance the purchase of a home in the Austin, TX area!

  Sonya and her team were fantastic! Very helpful through the whole process. She took the time to explain each step and was very quick to respond. Due to a quick option period, Sonya was able to get all documents setup quicker than originally planned. Everything went smoothly, and we felt were in good hands every step of the way!   I reached out to Russ Laing at Vista Lending on a Saturday after stopping by an open house, and realizing that I needed to quickly put in an offer! Russ immediately made himself available for questions, reviewed my application, and expedited a pre-approval so my realtor could share an offer with the seller. Throughout the entirety of the mortgage loan process, Russ and the team at Vista Lending did a phenomenal job of keeping me informed of where we were in the process. Every step of the way -- from explaining options, to locking in an interest rate, to completing loan paperwork, to arranging the appraisal, and reviewing a final closing disclosure, I felt very well supported. Overall, working with Russ was an absolute breeze, and I would highly recommend him!

  Russ came to me highly recommended. I found the process of refinancing really easy - and he was willing to work on giving me estimates over and over until I figured out what I was most comfortable with.   These guys are the best around. I've used Russ (and team) for my home mortgage and a refinance. "Impressed" is a tremendous understatement. Both processes were an ease, Russ and team were available around the clock to answer any questions or concerns, and we closed in record time (3 weeks from the day I went to see my new house). I'll use Russ for every mortgage or refinance I do in the future - and I'll recommend him highly to anyone I come across who needs help with either.
