  Bought jewelry from there satisfied with my purchase price was right and the employee was extra patient and accommodating to my needs, even after I left and returned to browse around remembered me and asked me politely about a transaction and I took care of it right away. Great customer service is Hard to fine. Great staff/employees ready to assist u.

  I have been going to Village Pawn shop for about 15 years. They have good quality products. Every item that I bought from them I still have and use. Mixer, camera, pool cue etc.

  Oh! My Gosh !!! Customer Service is excellent!! Let me tell you how awesome, I purchased a pair of earrings that was tag 14kt. I took the same earrings to borrow money and was told they were 10k. The manager told me if I brought my receipt in, I would be refunded the difference between 14kt and 10kt and he was true to his words. The Pawn on Evans is excellent. The best Pawn in town!!!

  It was very uncomfortable being there, I just wanted to leave as soon as possible after I entered . The building smells bad when you walk in and the place looks as if it is rarely ever cleaned. If you want to go to a quality pawn shop, I would recommend Jolly's pawn shop.

  I’ve been going to Village Pawn for nearly 30 years now and have always been treated like family. The store is clean and organized. I get my household items, electronics, and jewelry from there and always pay a fair price. The staff is always nice and helpful to me going above and beyond. I’ve never been disappointed with any of my purchases and highly recommend them.

  I went in recently looking to purchase a gun. Brandon explained the processes of purchasing a handgun vs a shotgun. He even showed me how to hold and load both. They are practicing social distancing. They were sanitizing the counters & the door handles. They are so helpful & very nice. I will return there for any purchases!

  Poor service from employees. This is not the place to go if you want FAIR prices for your goods. One of the worst pawn shops i have ever been to in my life. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

  Every experience I’ve had with village pawn for over 5 years has been excellent. Their staff are very knowledgeable about anything in their store and if for some reason they don’t know entirely they do research to guarantee you get the best loan you can or the best price for their products. I only go to village pawn for my loan needs and for my games, instruments, and power tools. Jose Marquez

  Purchased 3 games for my kids and left them in the bag on the counter as I was in a rush to pick my kids up from school. After I realized I didn’t have them, I went back 10-14 minutes later and asked for my games. The owner said because I left them there he put them back on the shelf. I had to argue to get them back! I am a long time customer as I have purchased a lot of games, movies, tools, whatever. I made a poor review and the owner calls me and begs me to take it down. He said he would make it right so I took down the bad review. I have likely spent thousands at this shop. Recently, I put a power tool on layaway. I had paid $125 on it and had to have major surgery that put me down for 6 weeks. The owner said he would work with me as long as I had it out by a certain date. Then, he said I am going to lose my $100 after he said he would work with me. BUYER BEWARE! As a long time customer, I can tell you they are in for a quick and dishonest buck. This is not a good or honest place to do business! This is TWICE they have tried to steal from me. SHADY DISHONEST BUSINESS.

This customer knows we did not steal from him, period. If an issue or question ever arises, we are always happy to discuss it in a calm and respectful manner. This customer chose not to.

  Well earlier I took my new surface pro to a pawn shop and they wouldn’t talk to me acting like I stole it, so I decided to try Village Pawn and brought in my older 2017 surface pro, with the keyboard and pen.. both accessories that you have to buy extra. I was hoping to get $300 so I could pay a cpl if bills while my shirt / design business is a little slow. I don’t want to pawn it, because it’s an important part of my business we use for design. Turns out on eBay they are selling for $450 with accessories.. and this shop will only give you 1/3 of selling price.. not that I am trying to sell this, only pawn.. so the guy said he could do $150. Well that is a bummer! So out of my bills, one was due yesterday and it’s $158.00, so I told the guy.. “Well I have one bill that is due today for $158, could you do $160”... figuring it’s only $10.00 more than 1/3 the price.. and while it won’t help with my other bill or gas... it will at least take care of the over due bill... and since I don’t want to sell it, only pawn it, I hoped they would be willing to lend me the extra $10.00. But he kept looking at his computer and said the most he could do was $150.00. So I declined, I paid $1200.00 for this Surface and $100 for the pen in 2017 and for 1/3 the purchase price I’m not bringing in my higher new model, cause that one I need for custom orders and videos. I do wish I was back home, they would have a pawn price and a sell price... the pawn being better than the sell, because you make payments and if you fault they keep your item anyway no matter how many payments you make. And for just needing $10.00 more, they would gladly help to gain a customer for future business. I give 3 stars because they at least gave it a look. It sucks though, today I wasted what gas I have, took two different laptops to two different shops, just trying to make my bills so I don’t default... one shop wouldn’t even look at my newer model and this shop wouldn’t part ways with $10 more dollars for this model. They don’t want the possibility of losing $10 dollars off of resale should I default, but would still make close to 2/3 off of what they gave me if I did default... if I default, I would be losing $1050 on the surface pro and was willing to do business with you cause I knew I couldn’t let that happen. I just can’t get over $10.00 being too much for you all to want to gain a new customer, so I took it down to 2 stars. When business is doing well or me, I’m always looking to add to my electronics and pawn shops are great places to look.. sadly I have to scratch two of them off my list today.... little update.. as I was explaining to my wife their process, I went onto eBay to show her the surface pro with accessories they based it off of... it only comes with the keyboard, not the pen... I tried to tell the guy... when you buy a surface pro, you buy the accessories separately. The keyboard cost me $150 and the Microsoft pen (not a off brand) cost me $100.00... so when you are pricing for resale you have to look for all accessories. The owner might want to go over this in training, so they don’t lose money when they resell items..... Update after owner reply... First of all, idk why one can’t reply to the owners reply, that is bs, so I have to add it to this review, I hope it notifies the owner. First of all, NO ONE offered $30.00 more than what you would normally offer. The guy I dealt with pointed out the price in his computer of the Surface Pro on eBay that he was basing his judgement. The Surface was 449.99, he specifically said “we are only allowed to offer you 1/3 of the sale price we find” , he then did the math right in front of me, which isn’t hard 1/3 of 450 is 150... $180 would be $30 more than your standard. And the surface he based the price on didn’t come with a pen, which again is a $100 accessory. And yes, if you can read I said I took my new pro which is only 2 months old and is a higher model to the pawn shop I am used to, and yes I left them a review as well based on how they treated me.. Facts. Now 1 star.

  John, you said another shop turned your business away completely, even though you've had prior experiences with them. We did not turn you away and actually offered you $30 more than our normal price. Sorry it wasn't quite enough to pay your past due bill but we feel that we did everything we could to stretch the loan as close as we could get for you. Our staff is fully trained to help our customers as much as we reasonably can, in a respectful manner. A 2-Star Google review because we were $10 short in paying your past due bill seems unjust and unfair. You were not disrespected or mistreated, we just couldn't stretch the loan any further being we already went up $30 extra. Good luck with your T-Shirt business and if you feel you need to discuss anything further with us, please come by anytime and speak with us in person.
