Betty Watson1No one will answer a phone. You end up in voice-mail HELL! stayed on hold for an hour, no one picked up.😡 Their drive up window is slow because there is sometimes only one cashier working the lobby and the drive up window. Since it became Truist the service has gotten very poor.

Doug Full1Do not use this bank. I was with Suntrust for years, when I had a problem, they were friendly and helpful. Now , the customer service is terrible. I have been trying to get the same problem fixed for 3 weeks. Do not use this bank.

Justin Bieger1Probably the worst group of people I’ve ever encountered at a bank. Only the senior banker was nice.

Andrew Lo5Amazing service on short notice, even though we weren’t members. Very impressed with this bank. We had originally scheduled a Saturday 9:30am appointment with Bank of America across with street whom we had accounts with. However, Bank of America was not even open for business, even though a sign at the BOA door indicated it was suppose to open at 9:00am. Wife called the BOA branch number (as well as others in line) and could not reach anyone. We saw BB&T across the street and after a quick phone call, they said they were open and could perform the notary service we needed even if we weren’t members. We were very impressed by the courtesy it provides to people of the community and speed of service. Diana F. (of the Farmville branch, floating at this location) was amazing!

Kei'lah Mcneil1DONT BANK WITH BB&T!!! My card was stolen and I tried to order a new one but bb&t says they cannot deliver to my address however, they’ve delivered to my address before when I lost my wallet and needed a new one. I called and asked if it could be sent to the branch so I can pick it up. They told me that was not possible. Then I asked if they could extend my activation on my temporary card because I was not able to go pick up another one and they told me I couldn’t. So I told them a different address to send it to. They still have not sent my card. I have no access to my money. They keep giving me the runaround. I do not like banking with them. I Don’t recommend not even a little bit. If I could give no stars I would.

Kandis Jonas1I emailed my so called banker (Elvis) as soon as the account was opened because I had a serious concern regarding the initial deposits and I could not tell which account was a saving and which was checking because they both are labeled as checking accounts. He did not respond to my email and when I called a few days later, he did not answer. So I pressed 0 to speak to someone in the bank. A lady picked up. Her tone was very rude, and when I asked her to help me determine which bank account was a savings she put me on hold and never came back to the phone. I called back and the phone system stated that the bank was closed on a FRIDAY. They are supposed to close at 6 PM!!!!!!! I am a small business owner and my questions/concerns are very important in regard to PAYING THE PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR ME. I would fire this woman and Elvis without hesitation if they worked for me. I'm currently looking into other banking options. Greenville, NC is not the place to be. Everything is subpar, I moved here a few months ago and the people here just do not care about the consumer. Update: I called over and over until someone answered and a nice gentleman named Jay answered the phone. He handled my issue in less than 2 mins. The other woman bank teller really needs to be FIRED by BB&T. She should not be allowed to poorly represent the company this way which I why I'm still putting one star on this follow up reveiw.

M. W.1Beware of a top floor man at the location of Red Banks Rd. and Greenville Blvd. in Greenville, NC. I don't normally write reviews because either I am too busy, it's just not worth my time because once there is a bad seed in an establishment, the infection spreads and then no one can help you, or the person that needs a reprimand isn't worth ANYONE'S time. This situation is different, I am overwhelmingly angry because the big business stomps on the little people. Why? Because they know they can. Wonder why the banks get so much richer? Because they can take money from your account in the snap of a finger (press of a button on a keyboard), but you have to jump through hurdles to get someone on the phone who will then pass the buck until you are so fed up, that you let it go. I have to admit that I normally do this; let it go. But enough is enough. What I am asking for is no large feat, but it sure seems to be to the most impossible task you would think they have ever heard! "Please return the money that was not authorized for the taking by your company." It may be a small amount to a banker, but it is a hell of a lot to a little person. [We’re talking less than $300 here, people]. Please stop passing the blame between your departments. It amazes me how hard you will work to earn a patron's business, but could care less about keeping it. I have been working since May on this issue, and it is still not resolved. Do you know how many times I have heard and read the words "We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention and apologize for any inconvenience you may have been caused."? Does BB&T realize that their patrons are not incompetent and a computer is generating a pre-set response and the employee's name attached to that email has the liberty to insert comments if they so deem? This is not customer service. This is not what BB&T commercializes to the public. When a bank becomes too big for its britches, it is time to stop and think, "How can we better serve our customers?" I have now withdrawn all of my holdings from BB&T and switched to a bank that literally cares about their customers. A bank where the tellers know you by name, whom you can contact in a pinch and have something resolved, and with a smile. A bank that does not pass the buck but will correct an issue in front of you, and the first time you ask. A bank that asks you if you are satisfied. This is the way BB&T USED TO BE, until it got too big for its britches. All I am asking is for BB&T to rectify an issue that has been ongoing for 6 months, and the only response I get is a babbling of excuses from a man on why he hadn't taken care of the issue and then back-tracks as to why he can't issue the credit. "I can't issue a credit that is not in my dept." and the other dept. saying the same thing. When I suggested their two depts. need get together to discuss and come up with a solution...… you could hear a pin drop! Silence! Strange, eerie silence! Come on now.... you shouldn't be in the position you are if you don't know how to respond to a logical suggestion! You would have thought a bomb had been dropped and no one knew which way to run! I saved them the trouble. I stated words they most likely didn't want to hear and hung up on them so they could have a chance to exhale. I'm not a mean person. Everyone has a right to their opinion and in the manner that is best for them! We all know employees shouldn't hang up on a customer; they just stay silent in hopes the customer will hang up on them. So, I did it for them. AND I never cursed.... I applaud myself. Now, what to do from here.... I guess a lawyer will be called. It's an ethics thing. Stand up for what you know is true, otherwise sit down, shut up, apologize and fix the problem. How hard is that to learn? And do? It's not. So why is a grown man on a top floor of that BB&T location so hard up about not helping?
