PNC Bank Reviews

Marion Wright, Jr., MD5Overall pleasant experience! I was greeted promptly upon entering. The teller had to get a banker to address my question / issue, but I didn't have to wait long. The banker, Chelsey, was very welcoming and friendly! She tended to my issue quickly and in a very professional manner. This was my first time doing business at this branch, and I'm glad everything went smoothly. I will definitely return!

Taylor Gaskins1I switched banks about a month ago. I recently started banking with PNC and I will say it has been the worst banking experience I have ever had. Overall the employees are nice but I will say the customer service is not so good. It is nearly impossible to speak with a teller they never answer the phone. When I went into this branch to open an account it was after work so I’d say they still had 30 minutes to an hour before closing. I went in with high hopes excited to become a customer with them and they all turned me down that day insisting that I call and schedule an appointment which is understandable if they were busy… but they were not at the time. They said they were all booked for the day but there was at least 3 tellers in there at the time 2 of which could have helped me open an account but refused to. I finally made an appointment and got set up I will say the man who assisted me with that was very nice and helpful this post isn’t in regards to him it’s in regards to the bank in general. I hate leaving bad reviews I just wish their customer service was better. If your looking for a bank I wouldn’t recommend pnc.

The Queen1Well I should have read the reviews before opening a personal account. But doing so I remembered why I left them years ago. There was a teller there that shared my account information with a family member and my money started disappearing. But I was opening this account to put an inheritance in to save for emergencies. Well the representative that I spoke to today, was all but personable. I'm glad I haven't deposited a dime in it and will be destroying this card. Time wasted.

Mr. enough-said1I will never in my life do business here again worst experience ever. After the company confirmed that the fund was available they kept calling the company trying to find out more information about me. The teller toss my money on the counter after she finally cash it. Like she was tossing food to and animal.

Tracey Mason1Horrible service! Lack of communication and nonchalant about your needs! It takes forever to get waited on in person or at Drive thru! I applied for a loan and NEVER got a response! I was told it would take 3-6 weeks..HUH! It took eight weeks and I only got a response when I called the 1 800 number. Even the branch manager assured me that she was working on it and NOTHING! Sad to think that going in person is a total waste of time! I will be choosing another bank! Will NOT be choosing this one ever again. Good customer service is a must and it definitely isn't here. Got my loan elsewhere and it only took 24 hrs for approval! I only gave it a 1 star because I couldn't post without it.

Bradley Spruill1I went to deposit some money onto my card last night and the ATM took awhile to do whatever it was doing then all of a sudden it cancelled the transaction saying there was an error and didn't give me my money back. I called Customer Service and they said it'll take up to 10 business days to complete a claim when it on took 5 mins to lose $610. Then to make it worst I talked to a lady from that branch and she said the service person for those ATMs come 1 day a week so there's no immediate action in service. After I get my money back I will destroy that card and never deal with that bank again. One angry customer.

Bob1Everything about PNC Bank is a hassle. They have taken the simplest of things and complicated them beyond belief. A simple phone call to find out the lobby hours turned into a 17 minute that's just a small example of what you can expect. Horrible bank to deal with. I will be moving my money somewhere else!!!!!

Brian Cleveland1Went here and applied for home loan. Spoke with a guy named Andrew. He told me I was approved for what I needed but when I found the house I wanted to buy he told me that I wasn’t approved? How can I be approved one day but not the next! This bank is a joke. If you need to go to pnc go to the one by the hospital and if you need a home loan go to Annie Mac mortgages

Robin Croskery Howard1I have been a PNC account holder for several years. I needed to have a title notarized. The notary public that was on staff did not understand how to do a split notary for a title, and instead of saying she could not or did not know how to do one, proceeded to make me feel like an idiot. She told me there was no such thing and that both parties needed to be there. Not true. Making your customers feel like an idiot, and treating them as such, is not a great business model.
