  I’m so thankful that I decided to switch lenders before I closed on my home. Eric was helpful and William V was fantastic. I spoke to him more than my own realtor. He was always available to answer questions or keep me updated, even if I sent an email late and thought he would get to me the next day, I would receive a response. Choosing VWM as my lender was probably the only right thing I did in this home buying process. Next house I will definitely choose a different realtor and builder, but will most definitely keep VWM as my lender.

  I had a very bad experience as a first time home buyer I wasn’t very knowledgeable and I put my trust into the wrong person and company. He ensure me he could get me in the house that I want and had me pay for an inspection and appraisal without the underwriter’s approval so when it was time to close he avoided both my agent and the listing agent which cause the seller to release my contract and me losing unnecessary money! Even though it’s a learning experience for me I will never recommend anybody to give their business to this company or Steve Batton!

  Please do not go with Va Wholesale mortgage for your home financing needs. I’m a realtor and the experience was horrible on my end and my clients. Steve Batton ruined my clients chance at their dream home. He lied to them, he submitted their paper work 30 days late!! We didn’t even know there was a problem until the day of closing!! We even attempted to call him days before closing to make sure things were ok but he didn’t answer anybody’s calls. I babysitted the deal the whole month and he lied to me and my clients. We ended up losing the home because the sellers couldn’t afford to wait another two weeks for him to do his job correctly and my clients lost thousands of dollars! Please avoid Va Wholesale Mortgage and Steve Batton!

  Eric Tan was our amazing lender. Any questions that I had regarding the loan or anything that I didn't understand, Eric was able to answer my questions promptly. They even work on the weekends and at night time after hours. If I couldn't reach Eric, I was able to reach his assistant Will. I had a great experience with both and will be recommending them to anyone I know in the state of Virginia!

  As first time buyers and living overseas, we were really worried about finding a lender that wasn’t going to take advantage of us. After months of research and being overwhelmed, we finally found a great realtor and she recommended Eric Tan and his team.
