  So I come into this store to try to get something out of a couple items I bought on Amazon. Itemst I held on to, too long to return. One of the items Actually came with a receipt The other didn't (as most Amazon packages don't). I was told he couldn't take the 2nd item because it didn't have the original receipt (even after showing proof of purchase from my account). Never mind that the box it came in actually had my name & address that matched my ID. He told me he would give me half what I paid for it at $10. When the receipt clearly showed I paid $35. When I pointed that out to him he said he could still only give me $10. After just wanting to be done with it I agreed. Then after holding me there for another 15 minutes to take all my information and look at my ID, he told me he could only give me $5. After already committing to $10. I really don't understand this kind of business practice. If you can't honor your word, then you shouldn't be in business. And seriously, is another $5 going to break your business? Is it worth a bad reputation? There is a reason this place has such bad reviews.

  Spoke with Evan (floor manager) about my loan and he was beyond helpful! Not only is he easy to work with, he’s incredibly kind. Seems like a genuinely good human. Have yet to have a poor experience here.

  This store looks completely different and organized now.It seems more like a pawn shop than a thrift store now. A lot of places try to give you less money but this guy Chris offered me more than I asked for on a pawn which is completely different than I've ever seen at a pawnshop. He was pretty nice and quick about it and new a lot about my jewelry and guitar I was pawning. I will go back now that they have a new manager.

  Doesn't even deserve one star I was very unhappy with my visit to USA pawn yesterday, I went in to exchange a PlayStation that they sold me that didn't work and talked to an employee named Chris and he said I was setting it up wrong and wasn't helping me set it up either he was ignoring me the entire time. So when I asked for my money back he said we don't give money back so one thing all future customers should know if if a product that they guarantee works doesn't work they won't give you a refund just store credit so you can get ripped off on another product. I called back later in the day and the employee named Chris answered the phone and I asked for the store manager cause I wanted to file a complaint against the employee and he continued to say to me who cares if your an angry customer don't come back in to the store and then hung up on me. So not only am I not aloud back at this store because of this employees incompetence I'm not able to spend the $115 store credit. So for future customers be aware Chris is by far one of the rudest people I have ever had to deal with with being a paying customer, and there is a pawn shop not even 5 minutes up the street that has way nicer employees and prices.

  place was terrible. i waited with no help and no one in front of me for 10 minutes. when finally helped the guy at the counter had zero knowledge of what i was selling, but assured me he knew what he was talking about. he proceeded to low ball me until i left the store. i do not know how these people get business acting the way they do. needless to say i will not be going back, nor with i be directing anyone near there. baseline pawn in cornelius is only 5 minutes away and they are a pleasure to deal with!

  Like being ignored? Like standing in line for half an hour, while the employees engage in smalltalk? Like getting ripped off? Then you would love this place. I've been in here three times, and every time I've felt like I'm either trying to be scammed, ignored, or just being treated in a rude manner. I don't usually give one star, but this place is absolutely abysmal.

  Not the most knowledgeable or helpfully bunch. This kid seemed to take enjoyment from my frustration.... and we didn't even get to the negotiations part. Such a waste of my time. This may not be a box store but customer service is still required if you want any of my money.
