  This place is so much better under the new ownership. I had visited the USA pawns in the Portland area a few dozen times over the past 4 years, and until recently I was always unimpressed. The new ownership has really made the attempt to reform all the bad habits and displays that were the constant normal before. I've always find it pretty tacky when employees say 'we want to be best,' but these people might actually mean it.

  I have nothing but GOOD things to say about these guys at USA Pawn and Jewelry! when I needed some quick cash, they were willing to help put some cash in my pocket. They were understanding and willing to go above and beyound to help me get the most cash out of my broken gold! Awsome staff! Very friendly!

  Was told to come in to look at the selection of rings if I wanted to know. They made sure to say sorry cant help you, come in if you want to know. The other location was much more helpful and nice. I'm not going to drive miles to see if they have a gold mens claddagh ring. I will spend the money I'd pay for the gas somewhere else that has better customerservice. It's not hard to find.

  I have been here multiple times, and every time they are fast, fair and easy to work with. There are a lot of pawn shops in Portland, but any time I take something in, I always go to these guys first, because they give me a fair price and will work with you on just about anything. Highly recommended.

  I've come to this particular location a few times, and every time I've come the store manager happened to be working. He's always very helpful and I'm grateful for that. It's pleasant doing business with someone that knows what they are talking about.

  I pawned my wedding ring, the girl helping me said my Center diamond was fake!! So I told her to give it back to me because it was not fake then she tested the diamond and it was REAL!!! Seriously she was rude about the whole transaction! This place has some of the most unprofessional employees I've ever delt with in any customer service situation!!!

  Sold me a laptop that was supposed to be brand new in the box it was opened and damaged 32 hours later I go to return it they say I only have 24 hours to return a defective product mean whIle I have 2 employees talking down to me almost yelling getting aggressive so now I'm stuck with a broken completly broken and useless laptop and out 300 dollars I ask? They say yep sorry. pretty nice scam there running

  Went to look at jewelry and silver, asked the lady if there was someone the does sales because of the long line and everyone was holding something. I thought maybe they had someone else "Seperate" that does sales. Her response was like she believed l thought l was privileged which seems to be a thing here in Portland. Every heavy set white women " Fat" wants to be racist towards old white man, like if they're paying us back for somethingwe didnt do. She could said , "no we dont , sorry"but she wanted to make sure she spoke to me in a condescending manner , "You have to be like everyone else stand in line. I wasnt trying to be different just asking so l could gage my time.

  I guess I had t pick one star! It would be 5 - minus stars. I brought in hundreds of dollars worth of jewelry....NEVER have EVER been arrested or stole a thing in my life!!!!! They accused me of stealing MY OWN JEWLERY OFF THE COUNTER!!! THEY LOST MY NECKALACE!!! I DIDNT STEAL FROM MYSELF!!! I grabbed my ID off the counter you idiot!!!! The nasty bearded employee (supposedly the manager) would not give me a loan after that and threatened to call the police on me for it!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! The girl that was helping me was very nice....but obviously was coaxed by the nasty bearded employee!!! I will never pawn anything again in my life! This was the WORST experience of a pawn shop I have ever encountered! YOU WILL BE HEARING FROM MY LAWYER! The LARGE lady also threatened to call the police...because I was crying and completely embarrassed!!! WOW!

  Bought an Xbox 360 when I was picking up my laptop after a loan for $50 dollars, It was a standard system, a controller, sd video cables, no hard drive. I thought it was a killer deal. I promptly went to another store and picked up three games I was excited to play my new machine. When I got home I tried all three games and they kept coming up with a disk read error which lead me to believe that it was a problem with the Xbox. Two days later I took the machine back expecting for them to just give me my money back They used an air compressor to try to fix the disk drive and tested it to see if it would work. After realizing that they could not fix it, they let me trade it for a different xbox with a 20 gig hard drive, two controllers, a component/composite cable, and they threw in a free game for the trouble.... Couldn't make this up if I tried. Anyways they have always been awesome for me. The guys can be a little sarcastic sometimes, but who wouldn't be in the business.
