Flora Villamor2I had An Auto Transaction With. Diana in their Office in Sepulveda, She was very Professional and Patient Everything went well, I purchased an Extended Warranty and paper works and payments taken cared of, this was early Part of March Transactions,Then yesterday a Month later got a Phone call, this lady Linda , asking me that I did not sign the extended warranty papers and it’s important that I signed those papers ASAP, I told her I am driving and can’t be there in the Office to sign, she said she will email those documents, I told her I can’t and I am driving and have no access to email, She told me I should pull over and get access to email, to sign, and l repeatedly told her I can’t, I have to be somewhere very important, then she. Said if I don’t sign those papers , if something would happen to my car and papers not sign. I would not be covered, I told her God Forbids nothing bad will happen but I just can’t! Then she keeps repeating again and again that there’s no coverage till papers are sign, If I am a very Anxious person I probably get panick try to pull over and getting anxious access my email, What … If I get into accident because I was panicking and trying to do what she told me, it’s going to be her irresponsible mandate to have me pull over the side of the road to sign those documents. Then I start to question her it takes a month for you to realize those papers are not sign? Then she repeated again “ Just to let you know you’re not covered in case something went wrong with my car” I felt like she’s giving a soft threatening statement, I am old enough to her mother , and she’s acting like one! Excuse me? What kind of customer service is That!!!! Threatening and Mandating me to pull over ? I already told her I can’t! And God forbid nothing will happen before those documents are sign.So I told her why takes this long to realize it’s not signed, The problem is in their end not mine because I was there in their Office and everything should be done, and now Lady Linda was rushing me ? Lady Linda you need to examine your customer service Attitude it’s not a pretty look, not just you but the whole Sepulveda Office , except Diana. Very Professional and Corteus. Thank You Diana I got your voice mail message that I don’t have to sign those papers everything is well taken cared of.. Lady Linda, take notes from Diana’s Persona,hopefully you will learn something of value for you

Mahdi Ebrahimi1I received an email that I was pre-approved for a new/used auto financing/refinancing loan with a low APR. I was in the car market and told the dealership about it and they said they didn't work with this credit union, and I am happy the did not. I tried to refinance my loan with them a few days after I purchased my new car and they came back to me with a rate that was .75% higher than what they had pre-approved me. That was basically a bait and switch and I am happy that I did not fall to that. Their pre-approval did not even say "as low as" for the rate and you would expect them to honor their rate.

Andres M.1I switched from a major bank chain thinking I would be treated with respect. I've been with UCU for over 3 years. My account has been hit with multiple overdraft fees without being able to access my account to transfer money because of your update. I was COMPLETELY locked out and all I could do was wait until your "system finished updating". I'm leaving and I won't recommend this credit union to anyone, especially UCLA students and alumni. Locking out your members for MULTIPLE days and then not working with them to find a solution is robbery.

C L2Expected a bit more from a credit union. Walked in to find the reception desk empty and the restroom was worse than a gas station. Two tellers on a Monday and the coffee dispenser in the lobby was empty. Overall a really bad experience waited over an hr to be told my loan inquiry needed to be done online. Management needs help with staffing.

Mo Safavi1Worst experience with the Auto loan. I initially reached out to this Credit Union because they were supposed to help first time buyers (and graduates from UCs) like me to have an easier experience for their purchase. But it was the worst experience. At first I ignored their bad reviews and thought lets give them a chance, but then saw why they have so many bad reviews. - The interest rate was almost the highest among all the lenders that I applied to. - The response speed was super slow. I almost waited a week to just get some basic information as opposed to a 24-hour turn around that most lenders do. - And then once approved for the loan almost after two weeks, they asked for so much information that again would take another week to gather and provide to them.

Dana Pointe2They just upgraded their system but I think they forgot to upgrade their ATM. Still running on some old school processor! I'm gonna get robbed for how slow their ATM processes anything. And no mirrors on the ATM too so you cannot see who's behind you. And you know what else is infuriating? Beginning November 2 they're going coinless. What.the.hell. A bank that doesn't want to deal with actual money. What insanity is this??! They only have two tellers working at a time. If the ATM is slow, the tellers are slower. C'mon UCU be better!!!

Chrissy3Update 6/15/21 I have had the hardest time cashing a check via mobile app. I literally had to call my insurance company, have them cancel the check and just have them send to account via EFT. My check got rejected twice all because I got married and ADDED a last name. Still have my maiden name attached. I'm upset because there is no response from operations team after leaving voicemails, sending name change docs and calling multiple times. I've had 2 other mobile checks deposited with the same exact name from the IRS that was accepted but not from an insurance company. She also keeps deleting the checks so no one can see it on their end which is frustrating. I've been with the credit union for years and they are the best BUT I have just spoken to the worst rep for the first time ever since I've been with UCU by the name of Rico. He sounded like he doesnt want to be at work.. I dont feel like I was helped, questions weren't really answered and will be calling back in hopes of getting someone else.

Eric Johnson1Applied for an auto loan and you would think UCU would make at least some effort when a potential new client comes their way. But no - I received no information, no contact, nothing from them until I finally called their office and was told someone would get back to me. So later I get an email from one of the branch managers and he doesn't even quote me an APR! So I respond with some questions and... Crickets. I am so surprised by the lack of service at this place.
