Unity One Credit Union Reviews

Jeremiah Foutch5Dorothy was great to work with. She helped me set up my new account and get the business I came to do accomplished. Glad to be a new member of this credit union. Thanks.
Response from the ownerThanks for the 5-star review, Jeremiah! We're glad Dorothy was able to make your experience a great one!

Jared Elswick1I deposited some money in this bank that should have gone into my credit union. When I went home, I saw that the correct amount had been deposited, but was taken right back out. They then deposited back into my account $20 less than it was on my deposit slip. No reason was given, they just straight-up stole $20 dollars from me. Now I have to fix it with my credit union.

dick dooley2When I think how bad this place is compared to 20 years ago its sad how far its gone down the tubes. Yesterday, I received a bill for $10 for an annual fee on my charge card that had no annual fee since I received it 20 years ago. When I told them I received no notice of this new annual fee they just blew me off and said it has been like that for a year. I went to Unity One on BNSF campus to close my account. I asked if they could waive this $10 fee since I was closing the account and they could see on their records that I have not used this card in over 10 years. They would not waive the fee even though I was cancelling the card. A loyal customer for 25 years and this is how money grabbing they are that they would not waive the fee. So much like a bank now its pretty sad. Terrible customer service for loyal members. Shame shame

Necia5Today was my first time ever going to Unity One and I’m so glad I found out about them. I have an account with a credit union in another state and Unity is a “shared branch location,” so they can access my out of state account and I can do everything I would do at the out of state credit union at unity without fees. They were polite, knowledgeable and fast.
Response from the ownerThanks for your review Necia! We are glad to know that you're satisfied with our services. Our staff is happy to help you and we hope that you'll continue to use Unity One for a long time.

Lauren Simpson1My boyfriend and I had the worst experience with ALICE in the financial department. She has absolutely no customer service skills and if I were in person instead of over the phone I honestly think I would gladly go to jail for knocking her out or causing her bodily harm in some way. She is extremely demeaning and rude and I wouldn’t recommend her to my worst enemy. She is a disgrace and she needs to be fired immediately.
Response from the ownerThank you for taking the time to review your recent experience with us, Lauren. It is only through feedback such as yours that we're able to improve upon the service that we provide to our valued members. Rest assured your feedback will be forwarded to the appropriate manager.

sue nichelson1I have been a member since 1989. The people who worked in St. Paul were very nice and helped us out and have since retired. The 'kids" who work in Ft. Worth aren't very knowledgeable or friendly. I think it's just the way kids are now - they have no respect or work ethic!

Clarence1Put money in 'Hi Yield' Savings account. Ok until dropped below $10,000 and then did NOT pay one cent? Weird cause other banks pay a different rate below minimum for the account. My $9000 made no interest? That is weird. PS... telling someone they have a 'screw loose' is hateful these days. Maybe that person better get with the times.

Linda M1In the 7 years that I was a member, not ONE time did they ever get anything right the first time. It always took multiple contacts and follow ups to get the request completed. Even when closing the account, it took 2 months and 4 calls to finally get it closed. I think it goes without saying that their customer service was awful!

Survey SY1HORRIBLE customer service. Very difficult to get representative online. They outsource to somebody. And they are also extremely rude. So I called Unity one again. They said they are transfering to Manager, instead it was back to customer service and nobody lifts the phone. NEVER AND EVER TAKE UNITY ONE.

Jennifer Swisher1Went to buy a trailer and it wouldn't not load on the truck. We said we didn't want the trailer and never took possession of the trailer. They said it was between me and Unity One. Called Unity and they are going to file a repo on the trailer we never took possession of.
