  Love United Texas Credit Union! Shelby Johnson helped my Husband Pete Chairez and I re-finance our cars with a great rate. He went above and beyond explaining the process as it was going on.   Great credit union to do refiannces and loans with. Had 2 cars refinanced and save me 3-5% and bought a new car with a lower interest rate than anyone has ever offered. Looking g to possibly refinance a personal loan to see how they can help there soon.

  I have gotten an auto loan and personal loan through this credit union and could not be more happy with my experience. Rona Thorpe has helped me with both loans.   I highly recommend First Class American Credit Union. Everyone in the bank is very professional, helpful, and polite. Kyla, my loan manager, was great! She was on top my boat loan during the whole process. I couldn't have asked for a better experience financing my new boat.

  I HIGHLY recommend this credit union. They've helped me buuld my credit, they're a monthly always friendly and they even remember my name. All my major lines of credit that I have and will have will be through them- always. The trust, professionalism, and interests rates can't be beat.

  I have been a First Class American Credit Union MEMBER for thirty-eight years and the only time I have had a bad situation was once and the company addressed it immediately. So if a company can only have one incident during that longevity then I can continue doing business with that company.

  Banking hassles, I hate banking here so I stopped and went back to my other bank. I travel for work and what a pain- they constantly shut off your atm card the second you are out of the state and the answer is OH just call us and let us know.. I'm not 12 - I do not need or want to check into my bank every time I leave. They charge for new cards, now they are charging for the checking account. I keep my accounts there because I have loans with them. But now I'm supposed to pay a fee monthly on an account that sits idle with just savings money in there and absolutely no activity. The only positive thing I can say is that the loans here are great rates and the loan people are awesome, its actually almost as if its two entities ... the banking side is awful all the way down to contacting them yet the loan dept is absolutely wonderful.

  Hi Zoey - I am sorry for your bad experience. While we do block your debit card from international websites, or in high fraud states (California, Florida, etc.) we open it up for you upon request. We do this to reduce fraud on your account. If you are traveling out of the country we open it to international transactions during the time-frame you provide us. We do charge to replace cards for those members who continually lose/misplace their cards. We do not charge in the case of your card being compromised to any data breach. Our checking accounts do have a $6.00 monthly fee. This is the fee for the added benefits on the account such as identity theft protection, credit score monitoring, cell phone protection, savings at hotels, airfare, major retailers, eye exam benefits, to name a few.

  0 stars!!!!! Horrible customer service! When I opened my account they would not accept a PASSPORT as a valid form of ID. After jumping through hoops to open the account (I only did so because of my employer recommending that I do) I have had nothing but problems in using my account. I strongly recommend finding somewhere else to put your money! I wouldn't trust them with a penny of my money moving forward. It has been a nightmare in dealing with them and now I am stuck waiting 3 business days for a check to clear before I can even close my account. Do not do business with this bank!!!!

  Hi Charlene - We would like to apologize for what you felt like was poor service. We do accept passports for identification. If the address on the passport is different than your current address of record we must have other identification with the same address of record, or a utility bill with your name and address to verify identification. Our records indicate your name change took one day to complete including ordering new debit cards in your new name. We do place holds on checks, I am sorry you were unable to receive immediate credit, however unless you have corresponding funds already in your account we do place a hold for the amount of the check.
