Crystal Sixx5UHCU is the best bank I have ever used in my entire life. Customer service is the nicest at the Manchaca Rd location. I have never had a problem with anything. Use a credit union and fire your big box corporate bank!!

Ben Barr5Jackie Watson is an absolute gem of a person. Not only was she patient and understanding of my situation but was caring and kind throughout the entire time she had spent with me. I have been with UHCU for over 20 years and I am alway blown away with the quality of service that I have received. Thank you Jackie!! I will see you soon!!

Debbie Grana5UHCU has been my Financial Institution for 30 years Now...I obviously love their policies & banking system. Once in a great while, I may have to wait a bit longer, at the drive-thru but that's usually due to a high volume at THAT particular time. Loans have been a "piece of cake" and applying for new cards has been a breeze. They are friendly, helpful & professional...I'm happy with them, and so is my money! Thank You UHCU. Debbie G

margaret zendejas1Customer service at Manchaca location sucks! This isn't the first time I have felt like Customer service needs people training. No acknowledgement when approaching tellers. Even the assistant branch manager doesn't have enough respect for customers to identify himself. Rude, rude, rude! I personally don't bank here, it's my dad's bank and I take him to do his transactions. If I did bank here, I would switch banking institutions.

jacob shaw5Shout out to Kate for being my personal banker, today! Thanks for being patient and courteous. Started my account at UHCU Menchaca, and have always had a positive experience here. Y'all are consistently great.

Karina Cooper1I would like to make a complaint about Audrey at the Manchaca location in South Austin. I have been a member of this bank for many years and today I came in because I lost my debit card and needed to deposit a check. The lady who actually created my new card was helpful however Audrey was standing next to her with another woman. When I asked to update my debit card to my legal name which is on my ID they told me I needed my marriage certificate to update. I clearly wouldn't walk around with my marriage license and it's been many years since I got married. This is the last institution to update my information and today I was yet again refused. When trying to understand why my state issued id is not enough Audrey began to become combative and rude. Her tone was completely condescending and uncalled for, everyone in the branch stopped to listen to our conversation. I have been with this bank because of the friendly personal nature, I recognize the people I interact with regularly. If this is the new operating procedure I'm going to have to look for a new bank to do business with. I don't know why it took 3 people to explain a simple transaction or why Audrey felt the need to jump in and be EXTRA rude but I feel personally attacked by her. We weren't even talking and she jumped in. If I had been disgruntled or upset I could understand the back up but I had a smile on my face and was just trying to get this taken care of. She kept claiming it's because you guys run against my social and if that's the case you guys would have issues as every other organization in the world including the SSI office recognize my marriage. This whole thing is disheartening and unbelievable. Then if it wasn't a hard enough interaction to process while in line to deposit a check I could hear them talking poorly of me. Who gossips about a person while on the clock like this? Unacceptable. I hope this coaching opportunity is addressed because up until a few minutes ago this place was held in high esteem by me, now I'm researching other credit unions to do my banking through. All over simple requests.

Esther Calvillo5I was at this location yesterday. We waited in line for about an hour. There was two young ladies handing out little slips to fill, greeting us an being so kind. When we finally made it to the front my mother was upset at the long wait, the teller was having issues with her account since she banks at a different bank. The same young lady that was outside stepped in and helped the teller, and resolved the issue. The teller thanked us for being patient and doing the little slip. My mom was so pleased afterwards she asked me, imagine how they treat the people that actually have money here. Thank you.

Kevin W1You need more than one person working to open up accounts, get into lock boxes, etc. If that changes I'd change my review to 5 stars, but waiting over 45 minutes just to talk to someone is a bit much. When I got work with people they were fantastic and easy to work with. Update: taking down another star due too poor auto loan service. I got a much better rate, but the process was filled with mistakes that I needed to correct and 2 weeks later things still aren't running smooth. Second update. Person setting up my load did not tell the truth and person trying to fix it can't set up payments correctly. This has been nothing but a huge pain in the butt. Third Update. This company will say whatever it takes to get your business and lie without blinking an eye. They got me on my auto loan to save a few hundred bucks and I'm paying for it now. Dishonorable company

Amanda Davenport5I’ve been treated above and beyond well through UHCU workers! They always seem ready to help and polite and treat me right as a customer, unlike the bank I previously had who was “Wells Fargo Bank.” Wells Fargo staff treated me very degrading and lied to me about their “policies and rules” regarding having a checking account with them. Then they charged me $35 a month fee because they said I wasn’t following their rules, when I followed all the ones they told me about, so therefore they lied to charge me so they could charge me purposely. Well, UHCU has never charged me or done that at all. So I left Wells Fargo years ago, because of my horrible experience as a customer, and have been at UHCU ever since. I want to continue to be a customer as long as their open and running. Thanks UHCU for giving me the best experience with having a checking account through you, and for treating me so well and going out of your way (more than what your job actually requires) to help me! If you want a good experience with having a checking account that’s always free and want to be treated respectfully, UHCU is what you want!

Michael Henehan5Arny Beltran went above and beyond to help me get my 2017 Tundra refinanced at a lower interest rate. I thought I had the best rate with my bank, but I was able to get a loan at almost 1% less on the APR. He is always pleasant and helpful when I have any questions. I opened a checking/savings as well. Thank you so much for all of your help to make this process seamless.
