Allie Ford5If you are looking for a bank in the Lowcountry, look no further. The courteousness of their staff is what sets them apart. Today it was Tyler at the front desk and he was helpful in every way. I’d give them more stars if I could but they’ve got my business for as long as we’re both here.

Source Ortho5I have been banking with United for over 20 years since they opened their first community first branch on meeting street. I haven’t always been a fan of their growth and acquisitions over the years. I think they have lost some of that small bank charm but all and all a good place to bank

Madison1I’ve never had a great experience here. The drive-thru tellers are unfriendly and act as if it’s an inconvenience that you’re there. Simple questions are met with snarky, condescending, short answers. Customer service is something I value greatly for my banking and this location simply lacks in this category. I will be using a different bank in the future.

John Tyler Williamson5Just wanted to say I had a great mortgage application experience with Kevin Hammond at the Mt. Pleasant branch. Kevin was very friendly, patient, and helpful. He made a seemingly complex, intimidating process very easy to understand and explained things every step of the way. He even stayed late at the office while he walked me through the details of the application. While I was unfortunately ultimately unable to get my loan through CresCom simply because of the specific loan product I was looking for and the specific property I'm attempting to buy, I wish I could have continued with Kevin.

Nancy Scardino1I was with them for over 4 years. I totally understand that it is a small bank and that’s what I liked about it. But what happened to me should not be allowed. I accidentally over drafted my account, my fault. I didn’t know until I received a letter in the mail that my account overdrafted. Went the next day to make a deposit and found out that my account was charged $35 fee ( which is fine ) but because I didn’t get there within the 5 days , they charged me an extra &$36!! That’s $71!! I didn’t know! My mail came the day before so how was I supposed to know if I just got notified?? Customer Service didn’t care, so I closed my account and he didn’t try to explain his position. They had some really nice people working there but now they are uncaring. Be ware of there extra money tactics Very deceit!!

Kristin Byrd5Worked with lashekia today- fantastic and helpful, as for “ashley” I think her name was, working the window... unimpressed with her careless attitude and Rude personality. I’m glad I don’t see her often here, she makes me feel unwanted and uncomfortable.

P Z1Great bank when opening an account but horrible service after that. They never pick up the phone, ATMs are often down and they even limit how much you can deposit or withdraw electronically.
