  I got a great personalized experience from the start. After I was approved for my vehicle loan, I was contacted by Josh McWhorter welcoming me to Union Square. He made me aware of different offers that I was not aware of and gave me his contact info. Josh let me know that he was there to help me in any way he could. I have contacted him three times with questions and he has responded very promptly and taken very good care of me. Every customer service agent that I have been in contact with has been very courteous, respectful, and resolved my issues. I am a professional and work in public service. Union Square is one of the best organizations that I have seen in terms of customer service. I am a member for life.

  I had been injured on my job November 16, 2016 and after much physical therapy. I was unable to go back to work. I had paid off 4 cars in my life time before my injury. I had excellent credit could get whatever I wanted. I was in the process of paying of another car before I was injured. However, I lost everything after I met my mmi with Workmen’s Comp claim in 2018. It left me with literally $5,000 to my name. I voluntarily surrendered my car back to Toyota. I brought another car with the cash I had left. However, it broke down two months later because the belt broke, destroying my engine and my only method of transportation. I went without a car for two years. Finally, in 2020 during Covid 19. I was able to purchase a new car, but my credit was bad, so my interest rate was high 18%. I love Union Square Credit Union, because I just refinanced my car loan with them March 3, 2020. I received an amazing interest rate of 6%. They are very professional, caring, and looking forward to helping you with whatever need you may have. I was also approved for their credit card with a 13% interest rate.   I’ve been banking with Union Square since 1976. I have had personal loans, auto loans, and my mortgage was with USFCU. The people who work there are the most friendly and helpful staff you want helping you. I have never had any questions or needs come up that the staff couldn’t fix!! I heartily encourage you to do all your banking with Union Square.

  I purchased a vehicle and financed though Union Square. The experience was so wonderful that I have since opened a checking account. Whenever I call or email with questions or concerns everyone has been very helpful and responsive. Their customer service is top notch!

  Union Square is a professional, friendly, and trustworthy business. From the first time I was introduced to a representative until I visited last week to complete my loan, I had confidence that this group follows through on what they say and do. This business should be a model for other banking and lending establishments to emulate.   I recently got an auto loan with them and the dealership put $25 into a savings account for me and I’ve been adding to it periodically because I have been so satisfied with their customer service. If we lived closer I would definitely change banks.

  What stared off as a pleasant experience quickly turned to a nightmare. I refinanced a boat with Union Square and during the process had trouble with my insurance provider creating coverage as it was online and constantly down. I spoke with a representative and was told “ you’re completely fine, just get it taken care of when available.” I was then sent an email stating I had lapsed in insurance and charged 800.00 dollars for their coverage. I tried to seek some sort of recourse with them and was told there was nothing they were willing fo do about it. I have financed over 30+ vehicles and toys through various lenders and never had an issue like this.

  Quite possible the worst credit union experience I have ever encountered. I pay every bill I have online, like most people. I made a loan payment with them that gave me a confirmation number but the transaction didn’t “process” in their words. I should have seen the little words at the top of the screen that told me that. So I went online and sat up automatic bill pay for this loan. Next month it didn’t work. So I went into the branch and ask the rep set up auto bill pay since my attempt to do it myself didn’t work. Also I was specific in asking that the online attempt didn’t come out and two payments hit my account. Which last month it did not. This month the online payment I set up in the branch and the one that was supposedly stopped two months ago came out together. When I called the branch the rep was professional and reseeded the charges into our savings account. But every time I have dealt with this credit union they are quick to tell you, oh well you did that... GRRRRRR
