U.S. Bank Branch Reviews

Lois Pelcha1Worst banking experience of my life!!! I have never heard of a bank that didn't have enough money to cash a check? Then the Branch Manager acted like she didn't want to be bothered and made me wait 45mins. Before telling me she was unable to assist me?? I have instructed my Family and friends to take their business elsewhere. 😡

iceman012321I made an appointment for 10:30 to see a personal banker. Got there on time and checked in at the counter, they told me it’d be just a moment and to have a seat. 10 mins later the other lady at the counter asked if I’d been helped and I again let them know I had an appointment for 10:30. At 10:55 the 2nd counter lady asked me to come up to the counter so she could help me. I told her it was an appointment scheduled with a personal banker which she said we’re all personal bankers. I asked why I was made to sit and wait if I was only going to be helped at the counter the whole time. Why all the other people were helped and I was pushed to the end. She said the person who was supposed to help me was out sick, they’re short staffed and she didn’t know I was there for an appointment. The lady who first helped me left the counter to help a guy who came in after me around 10:40 and didn’t acknowledge me at all which I also asked why that was acceptable customer service. She asked what I wanted done and I told her I needed to cancel a credit card I don’t use and to close one checking account I have with them but to transfer that account to my other checking account. Which she then questioned so I asked for my ID back. She WOULDN’T GIVE IT BACK! I had to be forceful and loud to make her hand it back to me. Told her I was leaving the location and my last words were thank you. The first counter lady was middle eastern and the guy she left to help ahead of me was as well..it really felt like I was being stereotyped and deemed lesser. Everyone else were older adults and they got great service. The tellers didn't have the right name plates up either so I have no idea who "helped" me. Definitely looking for a new bank. Don’t come here for help.

Drake Pawling1I close my accounts with this bank two years ago, the credit card i had with them expired 07/21. I paid off that card completely. But i guess January 4th for whatever reason this card was used to purchase something from "Microsoft" (they gave me a number to call, i did it was inactive and on scam registrys). The statements i had no idea i was getting (yet again because i haven't had any ties with them since 07/21) i just found out about. My credit had been increasingly declining, im on a collections list, and im stuck with a nearly 300$ debt for a transaction i didn't make. The purchase was made in Washington state (of which i used to live in two years ago) and its extremely obvious that fraud happened. I have been going back and fourth through phone calls because yet again i dont have an account with this bank and haven't had one in years. I have no physical way of just paying this fee, due to yet again NOT HAVING AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS BANK. I fully suggest in looking into bank of America if your in bothell Washington as it is a more secure bank and to my knowledge hasn't had this type of horrible issue with previous account holders. There was issues years ago but at a much smaller scale, this problem im having now could very much ruin the credit ive been building since i left this bank and could also put me into a very tough living situation due to the unexpected and very much negligent handling on my information by this branch. Dont trust or bank with this location.

Shane Phillips5Every time I go to this location Dennis Fitzgerald is always professional with a smile. One teller next to him the other day was not as friendly as he was, he takes it to a whole different level. I don't bank there, but needing quarters during the Covid-19 era to do laundry was a blessing after going to other locations for help... Thank you Dennis

Yulenia Santana1I do not leave bad reviews. This branch has got to be the worst of all banks I have been to. Rude and snobby attitude, unprofessional, unhelpful, not friendly, nonkindly, the service takes forever! 20 min everytime thru the drive thru is ridiculous today I waited at the window for 10 min. Until I was acknowledged by a hand gesture. I dont know my account # by memory and get rude smerks for it. Absolutely absurd. I ordered a new debit card and waited 3 weeks turned out they never placed it. Same thing happened with my spouse. Unorganized. The worst.
Response from the ownerHello Yulena. We are sorry to see that this has been your experience. We would like an opportunity to speak with you and learn more about the situation. Please send us an email to [email protected] with your phone number and reference number 8719, and we will be happy to call you within 2 business days to assist. We look forward to hearing from you. T D1Multiple inexcusably bad experiences here; 1) Tried to change to this specific branch. I opened a checking account in the 5 figures. My checks took too long to arrive, so I called customer service. The woman insisted 3x that I had to provide her with my FULL social security number. She told me I could not get help with the last 4 digits. I told her I was recording the call and asked for her full name and the full name of her supervisor. She then admitted she could help me with the last 4 digits of my social security number. She tracked my checks and admitted they had been sent to the address of one of the tellers at this branch. I closed the account, leaving only my mortgage with US Bank. 2) I went to this branch to pay into my principal in the 5 digits range. I had my checkbook on the counter. Somehow they made the assumption that I had that much cash to apply to my principal-only payment. I was given a BS excuse as to why that happened and tried to go ahead. Somehow, they couldn't find me in their computer. I related my previous experience there and the teller/manager tried to assert that what happened before probably removed my records from their data system. More baloney. UPDATE: On Saturday 9-27-18 we went to the Woodinville branch to make another 5-digit principal-only payment. There were 2 tellers helping a Hispanic woman withdraw cash. The personal banker declined to help us as we waited. He was abrupt. When we finally got a teller to see us I told her that we wanted to make a principal-only payment to our mortgage and handed her my Mortgage Statement. She went back to the Hispanic woman and then returned to us. She interrupted out service twice to speak in Spanish to the woman. Closing our service, she said, :So that's $xx,xxx to you Escrow". I said "No. Not Escrow, to Principal-only". She corrected it but this bank is either inept or sorely lacking in customer service practices. It is more than just one branch. She could not get a statement to print. I needed a printed statement with this outfit for obvious reasons, but they could not even provide that. The best I could get was her initials on a counter receipt. I can't wait to pay this mortgage off and be rid of this bank. Do what you want dear reader, but I would never do business here. ***UPDATE: I paid off my loan in 2020... at a Bellevue branch*** Also, I wont contact their customer service and let them attempt to phish information from me again. That would be a complete waste of time and a certain exercise in futility even if I trusted their customer service rep with my information.

Casey Kopp1I've been a customer of US bank for over 25 years. I was advised by this branch to open a HELOC account as an emergency account/overdraft protection account. I disclosed with them that I planned on selling my property within a year. At no point was it discussed that that would be an issue. I am now being told that I will have to pay them a $500 early closure fee. Talk about predatory lending. These people only care about taking your money, not helping you grow it. You can do better elsewhere, and so will I.
Response from the ownerHello Casey, we are concerned to hear about your experience with this branch. We would like the chance to talk with you further about your experience and offer our help in any way we can. Please email your phone number and reference #4755 to us at [email protected] and we'll call you in 24-48 business hours. Thank you. ^Kim

Katie B2Been a member for 2 years then a notice to close my account. They were great at first then management changed. I have always kept around $2k in my account to avoid fees but they charged fees anyway saying I was below the minimum. This is a savings account not checking. I have never taken money out. They reversed the charges! But a month later got a notice that they were closing my account. A corporate decision...I don’t think so.
Response from the ownerHello Katie, Thanks for reaching out and for leaving this review. I definitely understand your concern with the account being closed. We'd really like to take a look at the situation for you. Please send us an email at [email protected] with your phone number and reference number 2565 and we'll give you a call. John Harrison2Closing the lobby of the branch is just covid laziness. There are precautions that can be taken to continue business. Instead I'm sitting a drive thru line 5 cars deep for 30 minutes.
Response from the ownerHello John, I apologize for the long wait times you've experienced when visiting the branch. We're working as quickly as possible to help customers. We appreciate your patience and hope you'll allow us to continue serving your banking needs. ^Kim
