This is the worst bank I’ve ever had. The ppl are so rude & just to make a deposit there was a whole production & they said they don’t care if I go to another bank. It was all over the word And? They’re customer service is horrible & they leave ppl on hold for hours. They’re branch managers look like homeless ppl & they are even worse. Don’t bank with this bank. It’s astounding how they treat their customers & it’s unacceptable.

My transaction was mishandled and $100 was taken. They are refusing to review the footage to show there was no money was exchanged. Robert Jarvis, the manager at the Peachtree Industrial office told me “It’s just $100”. Well if it’s just $100 review the footage and give me my money!! You have cameras but won’t review them to confirm allegations?!? TRUIST PLEASE REVIEW THE VIDEO FOOTAGE AND GIVE ME MY MONEY

Horrendous experience. First you said I had no home insurance and you would provide it for a very large amount even though while I DID have coverage. I've now spent approximately 2.5 hours trying to log in to my mortgage. Now I'm in, I wanted to change extra principal amount. It's now been 3 hours. Freaking nightmare!

Worst. Bank Ever. It would take me 37 pages to describe the horrifying customer service these idiots provide. The branch employees direct you to call the 800 number. The 800 number directs you to visit a branch (after literally hours on the phone). No one can solve any problems. I have never seen anything like it. This company is so broken. Trust them with your money at your peril.

Make that 0 (zero) stars for this prototypical ripoff monster megabank. Truist has been charging my mother's checking account a $20 "maintenance fee" for months. And their checking and money market accounts pay a whopping 0.01 percent interest! So moving every penny out of Truist to a firm that can be trusted. Ally is a good source for a checking account.

Truist - Trust us, we'll screw you. Been a satisfied BBT customer for decades. Post-merger I am one unhappy camper. Website interface is awful and they try to nickel and dime you to death with ridiculous fees. Ally bank actually offers more than a miniscule amount of interest on checking accounts and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with them.

Truist is a wonderful bank. Most of the procedures are the exact same as they were with BB&T. Everytime I call I have been helped and greeted with a warm friendly tone. Everyone remember we are in a pandemic and kindness goes a long way. Treat people how you would like to be treated.

Should be 0 stars. Suntrust was our bank for > 30 years. Post merger with B.B.& T. the new company managed to screw up our bill pay and no one at Truist can or will help. After 3 & .5 hours on the telephone, being shuttled from one useless person to another, we're through. We'll close out our Suntrust accounts and go to a bank that has customer service. It will be a pain to transfer our direct deposits but it would be a greater pain to stay with Truist and hope that they can get their act together. N.B. After more than a week of outage, the company remains indifferent.

No way to contact this bank. Estimated wait time for their 800 number is always an hour. No callback feature. No email contact. Even the online chat window says responses usually happen within 24 hours, and then the window times out and closes after a few minutes. I am resorting to the BBB in hopes of reaching someone about my auto loan.
