  This place is absolutely absurd. Don't ever work with a lender by the name of Kelvin Fernandez. Your home won't close on time (had to change the closing date 3 TIMES) all due to the fact that he sat on a loan and had it go to underwriting and decided to ask for more documents at the last second causing us to move the date AGAIN. While at the closing table funds were messed up (by the lender) and the buyer had to run out to get another certified check. It's been a mess. Called the branch to speak with a branch manager, and no one answers the phone. How is this place even still in business?! Avoid it, or suffer the consequences.

  The service , especially at the drive thru has really gotten slow.Also this morning there were one vehicle in front of me when I drove up and sent the box in , they processed two customers in the other lane that drove up after me. I hit the call button and asked how are you processing the order of priorities? She mumbled something while I was still talking. have no idea what she said. The time they take to process a request is way too long, even for a small transaction . Not long back I had to come inside to get a simple matter taken care of , because the teller was so confused she didn't know what she was doing. Thinking about taking my banking elsewhere.

  We live in Indian Trail and are literally 3 minute from the IT location. After 3 years of banking we experienced some of the worst customer service from the tellers and the relationship bankers. If we needed anything it was a hassle and received huffs at our requests. My wife and I would argue over who had to go deal with them. After a incident with a rude employee we decided it was time to search for a new location or switch banks completly. We found the mint hill location and even though it was 15 minutes from our house decided to give it a try. We were instantly greeted with a smile and a "welcome" from the tellers. We were also greeted by the relationship banker, David, who my wife and I at this point don't know how we ever banked without him! We have been working for years to get credit started and in one visit he was able to set up a savings account, set up a credit line, and clear up some issues for us as well. Our mail has been missing and he went as far as having cards sent to the bank for us so we didn't have to worry about them being stolen. This all may sound like little things that do not matter, but to us it was a big deal. We had considered leaving BBT like my parents did because of the IT location, but thanks to David and his coworkers at the mint hill location we will be life long customers. Thanks David for all you do!

  Messed things up by putting the deposit into a wrong account. It takes time to go back and correct it and for the balance to transfer to the right account.

  There are two people at the counter who are so condescending. The older gent treats men and women very differently. I usually try to go to a different location when having to go the bank because of how rude staff here is.

  This is one of the only local bank which will let you open a non-profit account and not charge. Thank you BB&T

  Would never bank with a company who gives their customers so much attitude. Stay away theyre not worth your time
