Teresa Buchanan5I have banked with this small town branch for over 20 years. I have never had a problem with this branch. I have had problems with other issues concerning my account and they have always been there to help me. The drive thru can be slow during peak times. I use the ATM during these times. I love this bank.

S1Went in here for the first time today after calling. The person I spoke to on the phone was very friendly as was the lady who helped me. There were a lot of people in the drive thru and only two people working (including the one helping me) so I can understand some of the reviews about speed, however they really seem to know the customers. The person helping me overheard the name of someone on the intercom when the other teller was asking for her ID and she said 'don't need it, I know her.' I thought that was really personable. The people that work in this location are very nice. That being said, one week after having an account with SunTrust I am not happy with them. SunTrust was offering a promotion to open an account and set up a direct and get $200. I did this, but when I change my direct deposit with my employer, they automatically issue a paper check the first time each time after you change your direct deposit details. Therefore I had to deposit a paper check into my account. It is now being held for 10 days. So I have no money for 10 days. I called and asked them if there was anything that they could do about this and they said no there was not. I find this to be absurd. When I switched from Wells Fargo to Ally bank a couple of years ago and went through this same process they did not hold my check for this amount of time just because I was a new customer. SunTrust punishes their new customers just because they have had their accounts open for less than 30 days. Ridiculous. Additionally, because I have only had this account open for 9 days now and i have STILL not received my debit card and account information, I have not received the paperwork that would have told me this, so I was not able to read this information before depositing the check or I would have gone to the bank that my employer uses and cashed the check so I would have the money. Also beware that if you actually use all the money in your bank account and let your account go to zero it will say "pending closed" and no one will tell you or explain to you what this means unless you specifically reach out to them and ask. It means that if you fail to put more money in within 30 days then they will close the account. But then again, don't count on the money clearing if you are a new customer and it is in the form of a check deposit because they will be holding it for a ridiculous amount of time and might end up closing your account anyway. My suggestion. Go with Ally Bank and just don't use cash.

Debbie Capps4Four stars (or less) for a few but then there are employees like Joyce. There are not enough stars to say how great she is and how awesome her services are. Little mix up on a deposit one rainy day and I did not go back for the receipt which I know was crazy. Talking over 1500 and when they did the end of the day and did not balance they were pretty shook up. I had not even noticed my 1500 was not in my account. Did not take Joyce a day to ponder this overage and she called me to ask details of my visit. Our info matched and my money right into my account. Without Joyce I had no deposit to account and no way to prove I had even made it. That is just one sample of her impeccable service. The rest , mgmt And all could learn something watching her. Overall not a bad group and I will continue to use this branch when possible!!!

Melanie Bass1This was the most unprofessional place I have ever been in my life. Only one teller working, drive-thru and inside. I felt sorry for her. The "banker" was ridiculous. No idea of people's time at all. I guess I wasn't fat or rich enough like the customer she wasted all that time with. Will never set foot in that sorry excuse for a bank again.

Ray Stewart1Trying to get someone on the phone is all but impossible. Just got a voice message from them stating the current wait time for the next person available is 25 minutes. What bank can say that? No people skills. They just want customer to do everything online but some specific communication has to be done directly. They require you to give them a least 1 star to post this.

Joel Horwich2Unacceptably slow service on at least 2 occasions. They Froze my overdraft protection after I returned to the US following a three-week absence, but before I had reviewed all of my mail. The result: I missed just 1 payment. They then Refused to unfreeze that account. Subsequently, I carried my 800+ credit score and almost all of my business to BB&T. Now, unfortunately, the two Banks have merged. There goes the neighborhood.

D Mebane5If you are need of answers to complex banking with SunTrust consider using this branch. In the middlenof COVID19, Cindy was awesome. She will definitely provide you 5 star service. She is experienced and professional. Her southern hospitality was so warm and welcoming. Thank you for being a shining star!

Donna Thornburg5I think SunTrust is great!! Yes, a litl slow at different times, not always but I always have someone very nice to wait on me! Always very courteous. Nicest bank I know of. If U want BAD service and hateful people, go to BBT. They will fix U right up!

Amanda Krawiec5Small branch. Great customer service, if there is a wait(sometimes at busy times up to 10- 15 minutes) they always tell me at the window before walking to help others & apologize. ATM drive thru. Large parking lot. Better experience then most places I have been. Have been going to this location for 2+ years.

SweetNC Lady1Policies change so much its like every few months there's a new hoop to jump through just to pay my mortgage. Things change without notice! How ridiculous is it to go from paying online to using your bank account then to cash only to needing your id just to pay them??!!These policies and constant changes dont help your customers. It just frustrates us and makes us want to go some place else...
