  I came here last year to pick up my pistol which I had transferred there. I didn't get their names, but I had two guys working and talking to me while they did the paperwork. I have to say, that I almost had fun giving them my money. They were very fair and very friendly guys. I am going to sending them another pistol, if my CC permit ever arrives, and look forward to seeing them again.

  Your Google Ad. States you are open until 6pm. Today. The way it reads you observed the 4th yesterday. Also one phone call gave me the fax machine and I dialed the number again and kept getting a voice mail that no one could talk at this time, leave a message and you'll call me back. I can't leave a message when the memory is full. Now.... Do I ride down there since it says in a couple places your open until 6 and it's 4:15 now or do I just listen to your phone. I'm not in the mood to the ride and find out your Google Ad wasn't updated right. I will wait until tomorrow, but the phone is full and Google is wrong.. Very frustrating.

  Rude, and low baller's. They don't even try to help you out and everything they have is more than triple the price of what they got for it. Better off going to smart pawn at least they work with you on prices. The previous reviews are fake because this place it's horrible every time I've been the service was terrible and they literally insult you with what they try to offer you for what you have.

  This is by far the best pawn I have ever dealt with and have dealt with them all. Great deals on purchases and always the best price on sales and loans. I been rejected by all the shops in Gastonia and gotten fantastic deals on the same products on the same day. Fast service accurate prices or even better. Adheres to laws and rules in the business reducing theft unlike many others that I have found a lot of my stolen goods at. Keeps a good inventory too. I haven't been there once that I didn't see something that I wanted to leave with. Kind of makes me hate selling to them sometimes. Seriously, when I needed it the most, they have always been right where I needed them. Little story why might want to get to them. I had just gotten out of the hospital. About three months in and out with major complications from emergency surgery. I got home to an 85 gallon busted water heater, broken HVAC, no food in the house what so ever, two three months behind on utilities, no income hadn't worked for six months due to illness and two new adults living with me to help me recover and they were without income. Bad situation and we were at the pawn shop almost daily. They knew nothing of it to my knowledge but they were there for every step of the way. Bless these good people.

  Would have marked no stars if possible, the guy said on the phone $80 dollars for what we were selling, we get to the store, he offers $70, when I questioned him he then tells me that he was the one I talked to and he told me $50 to$80. He absolutely did not he just said 80 and then says we dont even give quotes over the phone. Very contradictory. I then told him I dont appreciate him calling me the customer a liar. He then got very angry and told me to take my business elsewhere, and then started saying I called him a liar. Very immature, very bad business, and very bad attitudes.

  I went to this pawn shop and it was an amazing experience. They treated me with respect and they were very understanding with all this epidemic going on. I would recommend this pawn shop to anyone that is in need of their service. Keep up the Good the work!

  I have had a few firearms transferred here and have always received good service. Their transfer fee is 1/3 of the price shooters right up the street charges! For the most part they all seem like very friendly people and will immediately ask if you need any help.

  Ok everyone, I don't normally write reviews but I was so upset I decided it was needed to spread the word. I usually taken my silver and gold toa Jeweler. They always tell me how much spot price is and what percentage I will be getting from them. Today I went to MOUNT HOLLY PAWN and after they had checked all silver and gold which was a good amount. I asked how much I was getting for silver 20cents per gram!. They said spot was down. Well I knew it was not that far down. They said they always give 20 cents per gram no matter of daily increases or decrease. I got in the car and guess what silver was at..54cents. That's right he was trying to make almost 75% off of me guys! I am glad I didn't give him my gold. He was mad at me for asking, which is what any gold scrapper does. He tossed my jewelry back at me and said I was wasting their time. Please check the internet before you go to them guys. They never change their silver price. I told him I had a right to know how much i was getting and it was wrong for them to always stay them same when it clearly changes! And he was a complete tool to me!
