  They ran out of money.!!!! Don’t have replacement temp cards. They are telling people go to the atm this bank is trash. Bring back suntrust please. I been calling customer service for the past 3 days. The wait times are 50 minutes long. Then the phone would hang up. I been with Suntrust for 10 years, I never had a complaint. This merge will make them lose a lot of customers

  I was the fifth car and waited in the drive-through for 30 minutes all to be told the system was down and I wouldn’t be able to deposit a check. There were no signs indicating this, and it had been down all day. I went the next day after calling to ensure the system was operational. I was the fourth car and waited 19 minutes before I was at the window, and another 9 minutes before I was helped and able to leave. Merger or no merger, you expect more professionalism at a bank. Side note: I had just left the DMV and spent nearly the same time there. That should leave everyone baffled.

  "Sorry for the inconvenience" is the only thing you'll hear from them. SunTrust bank is not having off hour customer care so be aware and most of the times their online services will not work. Recently I am not able to add new payee and the reason is silly: "you are not authorized to add a new payee". They have numerous issues with online services which they don't want to fix quickly rather find excuses. AVOID Truist even they pay you 1000 bucks to open account.

  1 teller in lobby. 1 teller drive-through. Seriously? Looks to be 30 minutes to make deposit. Plus banker lady is in her office with four open talking very loud on phone calls with customers. Privacy please??

  4 clerks and only 1 does any help with online since the merger, Ridiculous! They ask if you have Suntrust or BB&T but 3 of them only do BB&T. Like why? Do I have to go to a BB&T Bank to get Suntrust help? This merger only made Suntrust worse and slower. The 2 Indian ladies are cool tho everyone else can might as well look like they’re busy and push people around till they get tired of waiting.

  Since they have switched to Truist it’s always a issue I can never access my account when I need to in order to see my balance or even the automated system says it doesn’t recognize the selection chosen to access my account information as well I will be looking for a new bank

  Horrible. Only one rep in the counter. Standing up 15 minutes already. First time came to the bank to withdraw some money. Suntrust and bb&t merged together but the service is the worst that I had ever received in any bank.

  They put my deposit in an account THAT WASN'T MINE! Made a deposit, gave them my card and cash at drive up window. I have 1 account. I check my balance and my receipt when I got home and my money was deposited in a different account. The last 4 account #'s were nowhere near mine. Had to wait till the branch opened the next day to get them to fix it and staff on 800 number said they couldn't do anything. Put your money somewhere you can trust won't put large sums of money in another person's account. I also got a nice bit of sass from the older sounding woman who took my deposit. Bank somewhere else, there are PLENTY of other options.

  There are no words so describe how frustrating it has been to deal with Suntrust Bank. Opening a simple savings account took over 6 weeks! I had to sign over four different signature card forms because they kept giving me the wrong one. And that's four times asking off work to get there during business hours. I started saving a little bit here and there but as a single mother of three, the amounts were small. I didn't contribute for a few months and when I was looking at my accounts online, I noticed that the savings account had been CLOSED! Without notifying me, Suntrust had fee charged the account out of existence! For several life reasons, it wasn't convenient to change banks for five more months. I tried reopening the account. They mailed me ANOTHER signature form which I promptly mailed back. This was four months ago and the account still isn't reopened! Thank God I live near a Credit Union now!

  If you are looking for a new bank for any reason stay far away unless you enjoy being treated terribly. I've had numerous issues with my account and fees being charged for no reason. I've called and left messages and no surprise no one returned any of my calls. My most recent experience today they closed my account because I didn't activate a new card they sent me. I never received the card and all they could offer to do is send me a new one and until I get it "sorry for the inconvenience " I now have no access to my money for the rest of the weekend since they offer no weekend hours. There are much better banks in a mile radius. Don't go here.
