Joanne Campolito Roach5On several occasions at this BB & T Carrollwood Branch, I have received excellent, ethical and very knowledgeable service from Iliana Wells (Vice President and Financial Center Leader, BB & T Carrollwood Branch). Yaritza Torres, Branch Banker IV also provides exceptional customer service; she is very knowledgeable, dedicated and committed to serving banking customers. In mid September, I was able to withdraw cash (from the ATM Machine) with my BB&T ATM card at the following bank location: SunTrust BB&T TRUIST “blended branch” at 27637 State Road 56, Wesley Chapel, Florida 33543 (next to Sam's Club).

Melissa Dunne1Called to make an appointment to open a new checking and savings account. The banker starting asking profile questions over the phone over what type of account I wanted to to get. I explained that I would be happy to answer those questions with her duruing the appointment. She said she didnt have anytime for the next 3 days. Nevermind!! Ill just open the accounts myself online!! I used to work at BB&T and this is not how you do business!

Deborah Ramirez2The worst automated systems I've ever had to deal with. The only reason they're receiving 2 stars is because the staff are nice & professional; I can't take that away from them. But I should have realized I could have issues from the get-go. After opening an account online, I had difficulty depositing a check. The problem came when I was requesting money back. Even though the deposit was still well over $2000, I was requesting $250 back, and it was by the US Treasury. I was a teller at one time but everyone knows those checks are guaranteed, right? Well, they still wanted to put a 7 to 10 day hold. After quite some time in the drive-thru and watching lines of cars going by, the young lady finally came back to say that I could only have $100 and would have to wait until the following day to have access to the rest of it. That meant having to go all the way back to make a withdrawal. And remember, this was a new account, so I didn't have a debit card or anything with me to help make the process easier. Fast forward 4 weeks and I'm stuck in Texas due to Covid-19, with no way to add a mailing address online or even on the phone! I get that they are attempting to protect my information, however, you have me on the phone AND you've asked all the necessary questions to validate my identity... So, why do I still have to travel to a branch to ADD information? We're not even talking about changing anything but adding information. Thank goodness there's a branch out here that I can hopefully receive the help I need. Will update this review if it becomes necessary.

Austin VanBebber5Switched from Bank of America and signed up at this location. Staff here is very polite and even recognized me when I walked in another day. Tellers are nice and helpful. I highly recommend Josh, any questions I had he had no problem answering and if he didn't know, he would make sure to find out for me. My banking experience is fine with BB&T, but I won't detail it here, as this is a review on this location, not BB&T as a whole.

Betsy Katsaras2Good customer service when I was at the location, HOWEVER, Lydia, the person who opened my account, convinced me to open a credit line as well, by saying she could do a balance transfer for me within days, and that she could do it herself so I wouldn't have to waste time on the phone. She gave me her information to contact her on a specific date at a specific time, but she never picked up nor called me back, even after leaving voicemails. I ended up wasting 2 hours waiting for someone to talk to on the phone and had to drive to a different branch just to be able to talk to someone. If you want to build relationships with your customers, follow through with your words.

The James1This place is a SCAM!!!!! Ever since they became truist they froze my account with no explanation and been holding my money hostage for 2 MONTHS!!!! Tania and Raul have not been helpful the branch manager was EXTREMELY RUDE ...stephanie was the only one offering a little help and Guidance...they directed me to the 1-800 number the 1800 number said i need to go to branch for answers.. THEY are holding my money for months and I cant even get an answer. Other banks said that when Suntrust becaME Truist they were doing many scams STAY AWAY

Morgan Anson1My fiancee went to deposit money into his account at this Branch's ATM to take care of a overdraft fee. He went to deposit the money in the ATM and ATM went through the process then says unable to process request and kept the money his money didn't come out nor did it credit to his account. Happen two different times at this Branch's location. Smh If there was a zeo star that's what they would get.

Sandra Moreno2I schedule a meeting and thw person that is supposed to see me was not even there. Everytime I come to this place it takes so much time in each thing I have to do. Definitely space for improvement with the service they provide.

Ashley Wells1Do not use these guys. after being told by their costumer service that they could fix my issue at the branch i wasted my whole lunch going there for them to not work with me at all to come to a solution. i was also charged some fees which i will be calling customer service to dispute if i could give them zero stars i would.
