      BBT in general is a bad excuse for a financial institution. They make their money by draining a deceased persons personal account with service fees when the dead customer no longer has direct deposit and basically say it is what it is. They refuse to close the account or lock it. Only way to stop them is by paying for probate, it would cost to much to bother.

      I do not bank with BB&T for many reasons and now i have a new one. Had to deposit some emergency cash in my Mother's account. $220.00 cash. They refused to allow me to deposit cash into my mothers account. They said it must be a money order or check. They refused to turn my cash into a money order and advised i go to Wal Mart. Luckily i keep an emergency check in my wallet from a fine financial institution, Allegacy Federal Credit Union. I am amazed that BB&T trusts a handwritten personal check over CASH.

      I do business banking with BB&T. Not all branches treat you equally. This one has always treated me very well. Extra points for several staff members being bilingual. I don't always bank in Español, but when I do, I drink Dos Equis...and by "Dos Equis," I mean "BB&T on University Parkway."

      This is the worst branch ever.. The market leader. A white woman asked me to leave d branch after freezing my account for no reason. Just bcos i withdrew 5000 from 9000. How is that her business. 1star is just a far rating. I wish there was negetive rating

      I appreciate banks being open on Saturday's, but when there are 6 tellers and 1 "banker," when one has to do a wire, you wait for over 45 minutes...seems like a good opportunity for improvement!

      The worlds worst bank in the world!!! There corporate center is the worst! Never try to send a wire as they will close your account down! They plan and simple stink
