  Horrible customer service. 34K in fraudulent checks taken from our business account. Account was frozen went to this branmch to set up new account, waited over an hour for the banker. She then left to get her nails done next door ! I was told to come back, came back EOD and was told she still was not back and would call me. Heard her on the phone saying it was too close to 5. My questions about the account all unanswered. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

  I had a positive interaction with the gentlemen who was my teller. He was smiling and feeling good and it rubbed off on me. Thank you for be reliable and sticking to your word too. Clean building that is well-maintained.

  Customer service at downtown Decatur branch is hit or miss. Phone support is horrible! I have never called when there wasn’t at least a 40 minute wait due to high call volume.

  (Updated) Suntrust double presented an official check I made at this branch. It overdrafted my account and disabled my credits cards as well. I was without any money or credit for 3 days because of their error and I wasn't even offered temporary credit for my troubles. I was trapped at work because I couldn't pay for gas and didn't have money to buy food because of a clerical mistake that I had to fix missing work and going to the offending bank in question. Worst banking experience of my life, if you have the option of banking here or throwing you cash into a dumpster fire, go with dumpster fire. At least you know what it will do. The staff were friendly though, so that's nice. Update I contacted them on twitter and suntrust was able to help me out in less then an hour. Moral of the story, if you got an issue, ignore the branch and take it up with them on twitter.

  Literally the worst customer service interaction I have ever had. The bankers here are very very slow and inept. Use a different bank, never use this awful branch

  Brand new SunTrust with Teller Connect. Remote teller services until 8pm! Debt card not needed at teller connect drive thru. Fast friendly services.

  The tellers at this location are so nice and helpful. I love the speed of service and the level of professionalism and care!
