  I like to give people chances which is why I gave this branch a chance despite their horrible reviews. Guess what? The horrible reviews are correct! Truist - kindly retrain or hire employees who know CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you.

  Went to cash a check for $7600. Had available/ matching funds. We've been banking here for 7 years with multiple business accounts and personal accounts. They've said they needed to hold my checks for 2-3 business days on numerous occasions. I drove 30 min down to the Richardson branch where my office is. Walked in and cashed the check with a normal teller, no banker present. She said she would always cash my checks up to $15,000 with matching funds. If it wasn't for the Richardson branch I would have closed my accounts long ago. Been about 2 million thru my accounts over the years. Awful customer service at this branch. Pick another branch or bank altogether. Also the ATM is always broken and ate my card that day and I was cool. Just wanted my check cashed. These people need a class in customer service.

  Never again will I use BB&T. They have processes to make paying off a loan super difficult. You can NOT make a payment online over $1000. They tell you that you must call a certain number. When you call that number you are REQUIRED to put in your pin. If you don't have a pin, there is NO operator to speak to. They tell you to visit a branch. I visited a branch and they couldn't take my money either! They have a $5000 limit. So they asked me to take out cash (over $5000) from my bank and come back. This is ridiculous. The amount of time I have spent trying to pay off a loan is outrageous.

  Our small business loves this branch. The supervisor told us to always call her instead of the National call center if we have an issue. She knows our name tho unfortunately I can’t remember hers 🤷🏼‍♂️. We’ve been here 4 years and Love It! We drop large business checks every month and never have a problem.

  Business Customers Beware! BB&T holds all business deposit checks for 3-7 business days to protect "the customer". If you deposit a client's check on a Wednesday your funds will not be available until the following Thursday even though the funds are collected from my customers account within 24 hours of deposit. BB&T My suggestion would be to stay away from BB&T and use a small local bank.

  This is the slowest drive-thru bank I have ever been to for a simple deposit. They only have one teller that seems to be in the entire building.

  the atm is almost never in service, ive never gotten a call back in less than 48 hours, and if youre charged an overdraft fee and it overdraws your account, they'll charge you a SECOND overdraft fee. im closing my account and opening an account somewhere more accessible and honest.

  I feel there's a bit of a skew here that is unfair. It appears to me that most of these folks are just mad that Citi got bought out. These impatient customers didn't remain long enough for the transfer to be completed. We've remained a customer since and I have had a better experience with BBT than I did with Citi by a long shot. You don't like the bank? Fine don't use them, but wishing them to 'close their doors' is malicious with no other intent. Vitriolic reviews such as that should be ignored entirely.

  Cannot express how completely satisfied I was w/ BBT McKinney. I had spoken to other banks 1st, for obtaining a HELOC, but was referred to BBT at the last minute. From the 1st call to the last, the ENTIRE process went smooth. I required expedited attention, and recv'd it! Andrea Harvey was totally awesome to deal with....INCLUDING working after hours for me, WHO DOES THAT? Ms Harvey made the whole transaction PAIN FREE. I even recv'd BETTER rates than the other banks. I guess good things come to those who wait!

  Mrs Shah insisted on talking to the minor who a check was written to instead of her parents. Most unprofessional and degrading branch I have ever been too.
