  Although the build took roughly over a year, I am very satisfied with Angel Oaks Team in getting me prepared and ready throughout the home buying process. Donnie and his team were extremely phenomenal in ensuring that they communicated with me the entire time and kept me abreast of what I needed to do and avoid to ensure success going into closing. They really made the dream come true for me and my daughters; I must also mention that I was more than satisfied with what they were able to return at the closing table. Thank you Angel Oak

  Donnie, Dax and Rhonda did a fantastic job on my loan. They were professional, patient, helpful and reassuring throughout the entire process. I could not have asked for a better mortgage team to assist me throughout my home buying experience. They were highly recommended by both my agent and builder and they did not disappoint . 5 out of 5 stars all around!

  Donnie and all the members of his team involved were extremely professional, highly responsive, polite, and very easy to work with. There are a lot of details involved in home buying/loan documents but this team made my husband and I feel like we were the only clients. We felt they truly care for us and prioritized the things we needed. We are extremely pleased and highly satisfied with the work of this team. We definitely recommend them anyone who is looking for someone reliable, trustworthy, and truly an all around pleasure to work with!

  Josie was kind enough to help me from Texas! Thank you for looking over our closing disclosure because I would have made a poor choice without your guidance. Not only did Josie give me advice but also sought out a second opinion from a coworker just to make sure I was receiving the best advice!   Amazing experience! We bought our dream home and Donnie made it easy. His entire team were always available and communication was outstanding. If we ever move we will use Donnie at Angel Oak no doubt. Choosing the best lender is so important the market is crazy. I’m not sure any other lender could have made it happen so fast.   I would definitely recommend Angel Oak Home Loans to anyone looking for a lender they can trust! I’m going to give an honest review so here you go. I switched lenders in the middle of my building process and boy was I nervous but I did it anyways. They offered a better rate and was able to get my husband approved with only 3% down on a conventional loan which really sealed the deal for us. After I switched, I read some reviews that were not so good which scared me a lot. At this point we had no choice but to keep going because we were at the end of our build and needed financing ASAP. However, boy am I GLAD I didn’t listen to those reviews I read because we had the most professional, smooth, fast, and amazing loan process ever!! Donnie, Dax, Anna, and Mary were the best team and got us to the closing table with no problem! I will tell you that there is not a lot of phone communication but please don’t let that make you uncomfortable because they communicate very effectively through email and they most definitely will speak with you if too just feel like you need to. They portal/app was such a awesome experience and the updates made it so much fun. Thanks again for everything and we are LOVING our beautiful new home thanks to Angel Oaks!! ❤️🙏🏽

  I had an overall wonderful experience with Angel Oak Home Loans. Donnie, Dax, Matt and Annie work as a great team and I felt well informed throughout the process. I asked tons of questions, I even did my own research to make sure I wasn't being ill advised. Their expertise was spot on and I felt like my best interest was taken into consideration. Two months of communication with Dax and Donnie; from initial inquiry to closing I became a homeowner!! I highly recommend AOHL. Inquire, stay the course, ask questions, do research, Get Your Paperwork In Order and Have It Ready... buying a home is daunting but with a good team like this, sheer determination and faith 🙌 its possible!
